WOW! Lehigh up 12-4 on Kansas. Could this be the first time a #16 beat a #1?

What has happen to Texas the second half of the year? Already down 10?

Lehigh is hanging tough after a big run by Kansas. 26-23 KU with 3:24 remaining in the half.

I fully expect the Jayhawks to win by 20+, but an impressive effort by Lehigh so far.

Question...

Am I the only one that thinks a 16 beating 1 would be the biggest upset in the history of sports??

I'd say it would have to be close. Never happened in the men's tourney before, so it would be pretty monumental.

Lehigh with a couple mistakes late in the half, but still only down 35-29 after the first 20 minutes.

Nope. That still goes to Buster Douglass over Tyson in my opinion :)

Lehigh might want to get back on D once or twice tonight. Kansas will end up doubling them up, something like 92-46.

In 12 games, 6 lower seeds have won...

#14 Ohio over #3 Georgetown
#13 Murray State over #4 Vanderbilt
#11 Old Dominion over #6 Notre Dame
#11 Washington over #6 Marquette
#10 Saint Mary's over #7 Richmond
#9 N. Iowa over #8 UNLV

And #7 BYU and #2 Villanova needed OT to win, while #3 Baylor was tied with just a few minutes remaining.

The underdogs are really playing well...crazy first day of the tournament.

Lehigh is outmanned. We all knew this would be the case. Having said this, CJ McCollum for Lehigh has the ability to hit 5 3's in the 2nd half to keep it within 10. i watched him play throughout HS.

Who's going to call Montana over New Mexico? I might if there hadn't been so many upsets already. New Mexico doesn't have a great resume, they might be a bit overrated.
