Ehh, some hot teams go down early and some don't. It's not an all the time rule. I agree, though, in principal especially not looking too much at the conference tournaments.

As far as Nova going far? They wouldnt have won today without some real questionable calls.

A lot of the games go down to OT or the final possession and you have to get lucky to win a bunch of them.

Like Murray State. Everyone had that as an upset but it was on the table at the last second.

Shockingly, Mock Brey does just enough quality coaching down the stretch to make the big dance, thus saving his job, only to unleash another turd sandwich tournament performance. 1 NCAA tourney win in the last seven years.

I know, but just watch. They will be in the Elite 8 or further. Its just uncanny how often shit like that happens.

I know it isnt a science, and ND wasnt event he "hottest" team anyway. Just seems like a team that went on a run to make the tourney will inevitably be overseeded and knocked off. Also seems like the "last team in" will win a game or two.

As non said, it isnt a rule. Just seems like you can find 2 teams that fit the aforementioned criteria and it will happen that way. This year 1 of the teams for me was ND and the other was Nova. I hope Im right on Nova!!!

The Big East just isn't as good top to bottom as they are cracked up to be.
