I know Nova was an 8 seed in 1985 when they won it all, making them the lowest seed to ever win in the Men's Tournament.

However, I cannot find who the lowest seed to ever win it in the Women's Tournament. If anyone knows please help!

I believe Tennessee won it all with about 10 losses. I think they might have been a three seed in 96-97.
