. . . this may be the year. Now, I'm not picking the upset, would would not be completely shocked if Vermont upset Syracuse in the first round. Syracuse is coming off of two straight losses and one of their best players in injured. Now, I still think that Syracuse will win, but I think that this game will be closer than most think and that if we are ever going to see this type of an upset, this could be the game.

I really hope it happens, it would be one of the best games of all time because there is no way a 16 seed will blow out the 1 seed. Would come down to a last second shot to win and half the nation would shit themselves haha

Not gonna happen. Syracuse would be more susceptible if they were riding high and everybody was picking them to win it all. But now, quite a few are picking them to lose to Gonzaga and now this. The losing streak doesn't worry me. In fact, it's a wake up call at the right time. Plus I think they remember Vermont from a few years ago.

Syracuse will not lose to Vermont.

Didn't Cuse lose to like a D2 team in preaseason? One day I think it will happen and when it does I hope it's Duke.

I came unbelievably close to sharing that same kind of umbrage in '08. And I NEVER want to experience that kind of terror again.

Whenever the name Belmont appears out of nowhere, it's almost as if I'm taken back to my abduction. I should have had heart failure that night.

Vermont was legit, especially when they played in the "Freezing Rain House of Pain" under Tom Brennan a few years ago..

Syracuse will win by 18+

It will happen someday, just don't think this is the year. Syracuse will beat Vermont by 20 plus, although like most other people I would love to see it happen and would shit my pants.....just as long as it's not Duke.

Honestly if you wanted to pick a #1 to go down this year I'd say it would be Duke if they play Winthrop and this is coming from a Duke fan.

Hahaha Rec probably would do that. I dont think Duke will lose to them but with how Duke has played the 1st round these past few years and with the team Winthrop has I think they could give Duke some trouble.

Pine Bluff being in this tourny just brings me back to the day of my old play station and when I had march madness 2003 they were the worst team in the game and I won the Championship with them on the hardest setting haha.
