I gotta believe Dalton will be near the top this year. Most of the teams are losing very good players and the Dogs are returning many solid players.

GCC played Youngstown Christian last year. They were young and very good. I don't think they will win the division, but they will be a player. Dalton and St Paul have to be the early favorites.

Has anyone heard if Ashtabula Sts. John & Paul will be fielding a team this fall? Last year they didn't have enough players to have a team so they cancelled the season.

St. Paul loses a lot but they just reload. The hardest position for them to fill will be QB IMO.

Mogaodre has some back but loses a lot also, QB and Line are question marks.

Wynford loses two studs that I know of maybe more.

JFK has their stud RB returning and always seems to reload.

Dalton could be a team to watch out for. How quick they buy into the new coaches system could tell their success.

Don't know anything about McDonald or Hopewell-Loudon and how they will be. I am sure R21 will be good and competitive as always.

good point about dalton - they return a bunch of good players but with a coaching change, it remains to be seen how they adjust. St. Paul is who everyone is after at this point

St. Paul and Wynford will be way down compared to the juggernauts that they were last year.
That should help even out the region quite a bit.

Funny, I remember someone from the old site posting that Dalton was going to be at the top of the region last year.

I don't remember quite what I said but I think I said we would be a contender for the region. Plus this next year the region will down from where it was last year. Dalton has a most of the core players back from last tear as well.

Big difference between making the playoff and contenting for the region.

The best three from the west side of region (StP, BW & BHL) all lost alot.

I think it will be wide open and less predictable this year.

I would have to say that I thought the region wouldn't be as near as strong as it was. I agree the region will be down this next year. Still solid teams out there though.

Last year Region 21 was a very good region. Some very good teams lost in the first round. Warren JFK, Dalton and McDonald were all very good and lost. This year it will be down from last year. Still think St. Paul will just reload. Don't know about Hopewell-Loudon, McDonald, JFK and how all will be.

As stated on other post...Warren JFK just joined a league that will be in effect 2011-12. What if any effect will this have for JFK and the future?

They are from West Virginia and they are a prep school. They sometimes have to travel to get games though (not cause there good though) .

They're in Wheeling. Their football team doesn't amount to much.

Should be interesting, their team has apparently been about .500 the last few years.

The interesting games to me was Shadyside, a perrenial playoff team in R23 who Linsly has lost to, but been close 2 of the last 3 years.
