This is brutal haha would be nice to see Minny get the big win over Purdue and solidify their position in the field of 64. That would mean OSU, MSU, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minny will be dancing!

I saw an NCAA team only score 7 in a half once, but they weren't #6 in the nation. (OU was beating Central Michigan 35-7 at the half a few years back).
This is sad.

Sampson III isn't bad.
Not the offensive force that his dad was but I think he could end up being a guy that rebounds, blocks shots and can screen and hit the 10-15 foot shot at the next level.
I'm thinking Horace Grant.

Minnesota is very talented, they just haven't been able to put it together. If this holds up they should certainly make the NCAA, and they could make some noise. That Iverson kid is going to be good.

Minnesota is more talented than Ohio State is, they just don't have as many shooters. If Minnesota finishes this off and plays like this tomorrow, they will win the Big Ten tournament.

Both of those guys, Iverson and Sampson, are still developing.
They're not ready to be dominant as sophomores and I think that's why Minnesota is up-and-down.
But next year and the year after I think they'll contend for stuff.

If the two bigs develop and they can bring in one money catch-and-shoot guy, they could be a Final Four type team in a year or two.

39-15 with 16:33 left
JaJuan Johnson with 11 of Purdue's 15 points. Purdue is just 7-of-33 from the field (made their last two shots) while Minnesota is 17-of-30.
