Im hoping the Huskies will shake off that terrible showing against the Falcons. Im now officially rooting for all the underdogs. One and done this year whoever goes to the playoffs reppin the WCAL. Sad but true:(

I think Hillsdale could be for real and win a playoff game... or two. But does that really make them "for real"? Haha. Good luck to all WCAL schools! I'll be rooting for all of you.

Never know about the Falcons. They essentially played DSJ even in the first half, the game was scoreless with less then 2 min left when DSJ ended up scoring on 4th and goal from the 6. Then they killed us on a hail mary pass as time expired to make 14-0.
We actually came out and put the ball at the DSJ 4 yrd line and a BS call (after HHS made the big play a penalty flag was thrown) it was one of the slowest calls i had ever seen and Im still not sure what the call was. That would have made the score 14-7. So i think the falcons have
the POTENTIAL to actually make to the regional finals. I think they could beat WR, PH, Archbold and/or Columbia, but very tough to get past LCC or Tinora. You never know, everyone thought the Falcons would get steam rolled by DSJ and that the Bluejays would have their JV's in by the end of the first half. We will see how good Hillsdale really is over these next 2 wks. Norwayne is an excellent litmus test to see just where Hillsdale stands, as the Bobcats will have played WR and Hillsdale.

If my Indians can somehow manage to pull out a win this week against a stacked Hillsdale team then there is no doubt in my mind we can do the same to Northwestern and make the playoff picture interesting!!

Looking at week 9 in the WCAL, things seem pretty clear cut.

I hate to be the one to rain on the tribe fans hopes, but your Hillsdale experience will end the way everyone elses has so far this year....humbling & painful. Hillsdale by 5 or 6 touchdowns.

It's Daltons turn to pulverize Chippewa this week. They will score early and often. Dawgs roll....59-12

The Bobcats will, as usual, will start the game playing just good enough to win and in the 4th quarter they will turn it on and pull away. Norwayne by 21

Northwestern/Waynedale-This will probably be the most interesting game of the week depending on which Husky football team shows up. If the gang tackling hard nose Huskies come, NWN wins 24-6. If the swiss cheese Huskies appear, Waynedale rolls to another victory.

Man as much as I have tooted Rittmans horn this year. There is no way on God's green earth they will come close to winning this weeks game. They have the speed to contend but will get killed on the line of scrimmage. I see a 30-40 point spread again for the Falcons.

I DON'T THINK RITTMANS DEFENCE CAN STOP HILLSDALE OR NORTHWESTERN ( GOOD O BAD DEF. )

hillsdale can definitely get to the 3rd round if they play well, IMO. I don't think norwayne even gives them that good of a game, though.

Norwayne didnt really impress me....played well with their backs against the wall.....Wallace is REAL...but Hillsdale is just too much....thats rich!!! Never thought i would say that in week 9 ;) keep up the good work over there

Won't be in attendance Friday night (prior commitment). But good luck Indians....If anybody deserves a playoff berth its the senior class at Rittman...These guys have been through 3 really rough years and its great to see them turn it around and get fans back into the stands. While its a very big longshot, I really hope these guys can pull it off. GO INDIANS!!!

So they have a punchers chance of making it to week eleven? Goes back to the this is a weak year in the WCAL argument. But if it was not such a weak year would that also be reflected in Rittman's record?

certainly, i think smithville and Waynedale both win this game 9 out of 10 times

hillsdale parents never cease to amaze me.....cant seem to find the visitors section so they sit on the rittman side and are loud and obnoxious.....yelling at little middle schoolers to sit down because they cant see.......This may be the only time you here me say this but i want Norwayne to win next week.....and BIG!!
