Point taken Red. We can talk about the past and how great we were back then, but how does that reference this year? Lets stay this year and talk. Of course we all want the same thing I guess....to win and coach these kids to teach them how to win...not just at football, but in life.Red Rum;489229 wrote:Bee Rabbit,
First of all, the freshman safety hasn't been perfect but he is only a freshman and I still maintain he played decent and hits hard. If you want to single out poor performances, there were plenty by "huge talent" upperclassmen as well. You have to play talent, regardless of the 12, 11, 10, 9 pecking order so many seem so upset about.
Secondly, it surprises me how fast everybody is ready to lynch Thut & the staff. This guy took the WCALs most pathetic program of the 90's and turned it around, if anyone around NWN knows football, its him. Have a little faith, he's not trying to lose. Sometimes teams that have alot of potential don't live up to it. Actually, its a common tale across the league and state every year.
And finally, I'm not looking to argue with every Husky Homer, we all want the same thing. We aren't always going to agree and that's fine but when a kid is singled out by name, grade or position HAVE SOME CLASS and keep it positive, don't single out players and place blame. There is enough of that to go around.
