A couple intriguing games I didn't realize were being played next year (ASU vs Wisky, WVU vs LSU).

7 of the 25 games involve SEC teams. They don't play anyone OOC though.

While there are some SEC teams playing in decent OOC games, i'd like to see the locations changed on some of these.

Penn State is @ Alabama
North Carolina is playing LSU @ Atlanta Georgia
Oregon @ Tennessee
WVU @ LSU
Georgia Tech @ Georgia
Clemson @ Auburn
Arkansas vs Texas A&M in Texas

Basically, i'd like to see things split half/half. To many SEC teams are playing to close to home IMO. Although, I guess it wouldn't be that bad if these are all home and home series, which i'm not sure about.

The SEC plays all their tough OOC games at home because they know if they went North they'd be promptly stomped out of the stadium.

of those 7 games involving the SEC 5 of them are at home and 2 of them are Neutral site, one of which is in SEC country @ the Georgia Dome.

Take a trip above the Mason Dixon line then I'll be impressed

The only two games with an opportunity to play in the north are Alabama/PSU and Oregon/Tenn. Is LSU supposed to play NC in Boston and is Auburn supposed to play Clemson in Chicago? Also, all of these games are scheduled early in the season so weather would not be a factor anyways.

Is this supposed to be in order? Because I don't think I would rank Boise St. and anybody over Penn State and Alabama.

There are a lot of good games coming up this year though! It makes me excited for football already just thinking about it.

I don't think its the cold.. but the fact that SEC teams do not travel hardly at all to play. Most of their OOC games are in the Southeast. They need to grow a pair and travel to the west coast, midwest, and northeast.

Boise will start the season in the top 5. VT will definitely be in the top 10 if not top 5. A BSU win would likely put them into the NC game since the rest of their schedule is cake. So I'd say its a pretty big game.

Boise St. at V Tech will be huge. Boise will likely enter the game ranked in the top 5. Should they win, they likely go undefeated and have a shot at the Title game, lose and they're likely out of the picture, as chances would be pretty good that the only thing able to drop them in the polls would be "poor wins".

I disagree FatHobbit. I think Boise plays an exciting brand of football. Ditto for Virgina Tech who always plays lights out special teams and solid defense and have an electrifying QB. Conversely, I think PSU is about as exciting to watch as watching paint dry. Alabama was not much better, their offense last year was three yards and a cloud of dust for the most part and they really under utilized the next great NFL receiver Julio Jones.

I am guessing you are basing your preference due to name recognition other than entertainment value. It is amazing to me the number of people who think that way.

After a 40+ year losing streak against the Irish, Navy suddenly has a two game winning streak against Notre Dame, making this series very interesting.
I know it's sad that I have to point this out....but Navy has a two game winning streak against ND @ South Bend, not in the series. ND beat them in 2008 on the road. Not saying that's impressive but get your shit straight. Then he spells it Jimmy Claus(s)en. Three sentences in and the guy fucked up twice.

They get zero credit for always having these games at home or as close to home as possible (in SEC territory).

When I see SEC teams doing what OSU does every year, playing a top program in a home & home series where they actually have to travel by plane I'll give them credit.

Most SEC schools don't do this. One exception being Tennessee and another being Arkansas.

And 5 involve Big 10 teams....so what. And we double up your away games with Iowa at Az. and PSU at Bama.

I find it hard to believe the most irrelevant and overrated program in the country shows up on this list 4 times. Can someone please explain this too me?

All my point addressed is those people who claim the SEC only plays Sun Belt and FCS opponents OOC. It's not true. That's all. Where they are played wasn't part of my point.

Why travel when you can get the top teams from other leagues to come to your backyard?

Why play OOC outside your region when you know you have the inside track on a BCS national title game if you end the season with 1-loss or unbeaten?

The SEC has a distinct advantage in many areas (better coaching, better recruiting), but they also have a current system that benefits them and will always give them the benefit of the doubt over a team with a similar resume from another conference.

Why would ANY SEC team not go with the flow?

I've explained it to you and other delusional ND fans at least 20-30 times just on the free huddle.

Of course ND is ALWAYS going to relevant, simply because they have a large fan base and a solid history. However, they are irrelevant in the sense that it doesn't matter what they do year in year out, because they aren't going to challenge any relevant bowl game, and if they even accept a bowl game, they probably will lose that too.

ND is the whore that everyone wants to bang, but no one wants to marry, and you can take that to the bank.

Relevant in the sense that everyone knows them, irrelevant in the sense that they will actually win anything other than the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl against a depleted 6-6 WAC team.

I'm not a ND hater, but Every game they play is a non-conference game lol. They were bound to pop up on the list a few times :)

5 Big East games. UC vs. Oklahoma... I can't wait.
