Anyone else love this show? I think it is awesome. I love seeing the different challenges presented by different restaurants throughout the country. He's even stopped in Columbus.

I love this show too. Adam does reall well at all the HOT challenges. I have only seen one show where he could not complete the challenge which were the hottest wings in he world. He does pretty decent at the challenges which are to eat large amounts of food.

Yeah man, that one hot wing episode was crazy. He couldn't do more than 1 wing. He housed atomic wings from the Lube. Can't imagine how hot those were because I've had atomic wings.

Great show. I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices but my girlfriend & I won't be surprised if we see his obituary in the not too distant future. Dude has packed on some SERIOUS girth since he started that show. As a matter of fact, a lot of those food show hosts (Tyler Florence, Rachel Ray, Emeril Lagasse, etc) have packed on some serious poundage since they became famous.

Love the show, but the one thing that always pops in my mind while watching is what Adam's life is like away from the show. So, I'd want several questions answered: 1. Before filming do you fast for like 3 days before? 2. You have to work out in some way shape or form to eat like that. 3. What's the secret to eating hot food? 4. Do you have to pay for any of your food?

I have wondered too if the show has to pay for the food.

But, I doubt it. Most certainly those restaurants will not charge a fee simply because just being on the show is great advertisement. (and certainly much more cheaper than advertising on its own)

Secret to eating hot food like a bhut jolokia (same thing as a ghost chili - haha) I would imagine to be chew and swallow fast.

Rachael Ray actually lost a good amount of weight recently and if I remember correctly I think Tyler Florence is looking better as well.

Rachael Ray could use a boob job. 95% of the time I prefer natural, but she looks terribly disproportionate.

Love the show. I really want to try the wings with the ghost pepper....million scoville units is nasty....I've had blazing at bw3s and didn't have much issue and they are around 250-300,000 scoville units. Triple atomic at QS&L is next to try...500,000. The key is definitely speed. Drinking just reinitiates the burn every time you eat. I don't know how he does the food quantity challenges...I'm absolutely terrible at eating insanely large amounts of food.

Last night he ate 6 pounds in an episode...in 45 minutes. It made me feel like less of a man.

I can kill about 2 pounds of chinese food in that about of time, but I'm immediately in a food coma afterwards. He just got up and walked around like nothing happened.

Filmed in Cleveland a couple weeks back -- Westside Market, cheese sandwich challenge at Melt. Not sure when it airs.
I have done the Big Texan in Amarillo (which was his first episode) but I was a lot younger.

Couple of guys I work with have been to Melt and rave about it. They said it's virtually impossible to get in that place on the weekend. One guys' wife had a "Thanksgiving" sandwich which had the cheese, turkey, stuffing, gravy and, I believe, cranberry sauce (and more) on it.

How about that Shut Up Juice challenge. He really struggled with that one. But that shit was pure fire, you could tell that when it took him five minutes to muster up the courage to take his second bite.

My sister and I went to Melt, got there at 1:30 pm and there was a 45 minute wait. When we left at 3 there was still a 30 minute wait. It is worth it though, I got the crabcake sandwich, yummmmmmm....

Adam is the man, there's one or two challenges I think I would do decent at, but that man is the GOAT

he seriously looked like he was in trouble with that shut up juice!

I wonder how many challenges he would actually complete if he didnt have the show and crowd to play to! I bet many more of them he'd give up on.

He does seem to breeze through some of them tho.

I think he played off the shut up juice more than it really bothered him. He has no troubles at all with anything made from habaneros. The ghost chili is what gets him.

Keebler...are you talking about the 420 cafe in Sarasota? I saw him eat one and a half wings there and call it a day. They used A LOT of ghost chili extract..I can't imagine how hot those most have been.
