She seems to be one of those celebs (quasi) that when their name begins falling from the tabloid pages, they either have a complete meltdown, or just do something stupid to keep their names on the pages of National Enquirer. Is her attorney the same one that sent you that letter Justin?

To me it is worse than simply comparing, it is likely in a publicly filed document claiming malfeasance and damages (to the tune of $100M!). I haven't seen the filing so I don't know if Madonna or Oprah are mentioned specifically, but it would seem to me she would have had to make a claim like that considering how popular a name that Lindsey/Lindsay is today, certainly more popular than Susan - I don't know anyone under 35 years old named Susan.

Yes, you missed something. Her attorney said they cannot use the name Lindsay. Because Lindsay is a celebrity much like Oprah or Madonna. One name is all you need to know exactly who they are referring to.

I don't think I did. Those were the words of her attorney to the press. I haven't found Ms. Lohan comparing herself to Oprah or Madonna.

I don't doubt for a minte that the attorney jumped on this opportunity.

In a lawsuit. The individual is attached to the attorney filing the suit. Dont be ridiculous. Would be like saying that JJHuddle and Bucknuts arent the assholes, their attorney that sent Justin the letter was the a-hole.

Ridiculous? I'll try not to.

What I see is an attorney taking to the press an emphatic explanation of the reason for the suit being filed. I see an attorney giving examples to expand and clarify.

My attorney represents my position. My attorney may or may not use the examples and words I have in our discussions. Because of that I don't think it'sto ask if Ms. Lohan compared herself to Madonna and Oprah. I didn't see that anywhere...so I asked.

The interesting thing is what arguments are in the brief that show why Li-Lo is so famous, it certainly isn't due her recent film career. I doubt this will go anywhere, there's as much potential embarassment for her than there is any chance of substantive recovery.

Lindsay, dont you think $100M is a little to much drug money to ask for all at once.

The $100M amount is equally incomprehensible as the claim. Without seeing the petition (the article has some general figures) I wonder how much, if any is due to lost employment opportunities...as if she's marketable now.
