Congrats, rec. No offense to you and the other Dukies on here, but I have so little left during this season, I had to hope that Tech would spoil the ACC party for you guys. It wasn't to be, though, as Scheyer gave me yet another reason to be glad he's finally gone after this year.

Thanks and I wouldn't expect anything else This is the greatest rivalry in sport and our hatred of one another's extracurricular endeavors is matched by none. I love it.

After the last two titles I had to suffer though -- and I mean I writhed like a demon trying to stop those from happening -- I am going to eat up each and every minute.

Now I just pray we don't lose in the Sweet 16.

I was pleasantly surprised by the number of Duke fans in attendance today. It was definitely a change from previous years where the Carolina or State fans would stick around to cheer against Duke. I think their seasons took it out of the fanbase. Duke couldn't put away GT today, which was expected. Teams dig a little deeper when they are playing for a championship. Paul Hewitt coached his butt off today, and silenced some of his critics. Coach K just had more experience and a more fresh legs out there today. Scheyer, wow, that was a huge three. The building went nuts.

Unbelievable how Duke has absolutely dominated this tournament over the past 12 seasons. Nine ACC titles over that span, and a tournament record of 30-3. We will never see a run like this again, unless Coach K keeps it up and Duke repeats this success over the next few years. With the drive Coach K has to win the ACC tourney each season, folks, this isn't out of the question. He cares deeply about the ACC, and, aside from success in the Big Dance, nothing has more priority.

Only Kentucky, who won the SEC Tournament 10 times from '93 until '04, has had such monopolizing success of a whole conference in the month of March. Kansas is making a similar run now, however, and seem to be on their way.

Jon Scheyer is an f'ing Harlem Globetrotter. Lol. This kid didn't have a good tournament by any means, but he came up big during Reggie Time. That's all that could be asked for, and he delivered.
