Dirty is what Big Baby did to Shaq. Or Dhantay Jones' special of pushing people in the back when they're driving to the hoop. Or even Bruce Bowen's pattented move of repeatedly stepping underneath jumpshooters.

Derek Fisher handled business and the Rockets crumpled. 5'11 Fisher was right there They coulda came and saw him if they saw it as a dirty play (and nobody did).

Artest and Kobe were banging. Simple as that. Cmon Sleeper. You've played on Lane. You know how it is.
So would you consider the Kobe arm sweep after a brick to be dirty as well?

When I think dirty plays, I think of Dahntay Jones tripping someone with their back turned, Robert Horry checking Steve Nash, Marvin Williams going ape shit on Rondo, or going under someone in the air. When you play fast and get up, you're going to take some spills.. I wouldn't say Fisher plowing through Scola was clean, but it was in the context of the game. Scola saw it coming; it wasn't like his back was turned. Unless you're a) a pussy b) a pussy c) a pussy or d) have never played basketball at a relatively high level, then you live with shit that happens in the context of the game. Hard fouls, lowered shoulders and sharp bows go along with it. People that disagree are probably the same people that take charges and call hand checks at the RPAC.

First of all, cview's post is basically my point in much more elegant prose. Hit the nail on the head.

Secondly, you obviously don't know about the #BossHogOutlaws that roam the courts of Lane Avenue: New York, Bones, Old Skool, and most notoriously: The Man in the Purple Shoes.

Scola is looking at him to set a screen!? He isn't expecting him to truck stick him! He isn't balanced and ready for that!

If anyone did that to me I would have some words for them.

Die hard cavs fan here. If any Cavalier did that tomorrow I would call it dirty.

Just sayin'. Things like what happened in that 2nd video don't happen unless the guy is being a dirty fuck. D-Fish is a dirty bastard.

Wait until about the 5 minute mark of that second video too...you want to talk about Varejao flopping, how desperate was Kobe to get a call right there? LOL

LMAO, are you kidding me? Terrible call on that one, that's all Derek Fisher.

Don't tell me the Lakers aren't a dirty team, funny thing is, the officials do their best to cover up for them.

This is how you're supposed to do it, look at the way LeBron reacts to this:

Round of applause for LeBron! ;)

He does handle it the right way, but I crack up every time I see him tell his mom to sit her ass down.

I love how Paul Pierce continued that play out of bounds and tried to keep pulling LeBron but didn't prevail. And then made him look dumb by fist bumping him, proving he is classier than that whole team combined.
