Barnes was coming down on him. It wasn't a nutshot in the least, because I think an elbow to the balls woulda sent Barnes to the ground.

Also, if you pulled that ball fake on an inbounds pass, you would get your ass beat on 99% of the courts in America. Complete bitchassery.

Whenever we eventually play our game on the court Sage, I'm gonna fake a pass right in your face. I bet you fall into that 1%.

Kobe asked for it, they were both being douche bags. IMO, Kobe was the bigger douche because he tried to be a hard ass and rattle Barnes, act like it didn't rattle him--oh, except that's exactly what it did and he clearly made a mistake of shaking Barnes tree. Fuckin' mongoose came out and killed the Black Mamba. Best he could do was elbow him in the nuts to avoid getting them in his face.

Lol first off...ever seen and 1? they fake throwing it at the other person and actually do throw it off the other person commonly....so idk about having my ass beat in 99% of places in america. I do however know that in 110% of places if you purposely throw a nut shot at someone...you're gettin your shit stomped out. Thats cowardly

i think that barnes did what he wanted to do, which was get in kobe's head. i'll look forward to this matchup if they meet again in the finals.

Watching And 1 and claiming it as an example of basketball is akin to beating off and claiming you just slayed a supermodel.

Not sure you'd get your ass beat for doing it, but you'd get laughed at big time.

I agree with this, just can't understand why so many people think Kobe was so innocent in all that. He did it a different way, but he is every bit as much of a punk as Barnes. AND he let Barnes get in his head.

Well, out of all the games played in America, I'm willing to bet that And-1 circuit games fall into that 1% that were excluded from my statement. You really can't be that dense, can you? Use your mind once in awhile SQ, it seems like it could use a stretch.

Also, no, I probably couldn't play with the And-1 guys. Actually, there's no "probably" about it. It's just like how none of them could play in the NBA. Although, I fail to see what any of this has to do with the original argument?

If two guys are going at it like Barnes/Kobe were yesterday, and somebody pulled the ball fake on an inbounds play, the gloves would come off. Sorry. That's just the way it is.

It's basically a basketball traveling circus. So yes, I would call it a joke.

Other than Rafer Alston (who has probably played the last NBA game of his "illustrious" career), I can't think of any And-1 "Star" who did anything of substance in the NBA. After all, how many of them would be playing for And-1 if they had standing offers from the NBA.
