Nah, this site itself is in no way responsible for any violation of any spam laws.

Technically, I'm not sure spam posts over there are even against it. I believe the CAN-SPAM Act (last updated 2008) limits only email.

Justin, I'm still on good terms with my old boss, who was a partner of a law firm here in Akron (and a pitbull of one as well). If you'd like, I might be able to forward anything necessary on to him to see if it's really something you need to do.

No matter what he chooses to do....it costs money. The name change is the cheapest route to get rid of some douchey pricks that are mad that we kicked them in the nuts.

Everyone needs to relax, we didn't do anything wrong. Now justincredible has to get his ducks in a row. He will keep everyone informed, but he is going to be quite busy for the next day or so.

Honestly, it might be an SEO issue. This site might be showing up more highly in search engines than is ideal for them.

I don't know that to be true ... just a blind guess ... but it WOULD be grounds for someone pulling any legal string possible.
