I agree....Minny needs 2 wins. Ill gets a win vs Wisky and I think they are in. Both lose...both are out.gorocks99 wrote: Would LOVE to see Minnesota win, but I don't think beating MSU secures anything for them, it merely puts them closer to the discussion. A win over Purdue after that would put them in.

I think we play Wisconsin before the final game, so we both can't make it. (I'm pretty surevball10set wrote: gotta' say the Bucks,to at least get to the finals--but I think Wisconsin's gonna' win it

After OSU's performance today it's going to be a big question mark if they can pull it out to the Championship...I give Michigan a lot of credit...they played their hearts out and I thought the game was over when Harris hit the shot to go up 2 with 2.2 to go...But terrible defense and the out of bounds play by UM...Idk why they didn't put pressure up top. If Wisky pulls it out against Illinois...It's going to be a very close game tomorrow. I can see Wisky pulling it out tomorrow by Trevon Hughes and John Leur stepping up big.

Illinois playing like their season is on the line ... 29-20 at half over Wisconsin. The Badgers shot just 19% in the first half.

Trevon Hughes, Jordan Taylor and Jason Bohannon combine for a STUNNING 1/17 shooting performance in half #1.

I feel dirty for saying this but ... go Wisconsin. Gotta have the bubble teams lose for my Gophers to have a better shot.

The Illini are in the big dance now. Minnesota could still make it as well with another win or two.

Yep, Illinois makes it 5 BT teams. Minnesota needs to win tonight and probably tomorrow to assure a bid, though I wouldn't say that's out of the question w/ the Spartans missing one of their guards and Purdue obviously without Hummel. Throw in that the Gophers have played both of these teams to the wire this year (in MSU's case, both times, in Purdue's case, just once) and it could happen.

Illinois has played a ton better toward the end of the season. I would have thought Bo Ryan would have had his team playing better though.

Uh, actually no they haven't. OSU beat them pretty good and Ill lost at home to Wisky just last week. Heading into todays game, they had lost 5 of their last 6 games!!!ytownfootball wrote: Illinois has played a ton better toward the end of the season. But today, they did show up to play. So much for my prediction of Wisky winning the BTT.
I like OSU matchup with Ill a lot better then Wisky though!

If Northwestern beats Purdue tonight, which would be the 2nd time this year. Should they be considered a bubble team? A win puts them 21-12, 11-11 in the Big Ten. They also have a quality win over ND earlier this year. Also, they slpit the season series with BOTH Illinois and Minnesota.

Gus Johnson is calling the Northwestern - Purdue game, so this one has to be destined for great things. How great would it have been if Johnson had called the OSU-UM game?
