June 26th and 27th, Worthington Kilbourne High School will be hosting a Central Ohio Competition Camp. Anyone who has every been to the Ashland competition camp, this will be run exactly the same. This is sure to be a great camp for getting matches of quality AND quantity. All of the information is indicated in the link below.

I know the kids really enjoyed the format of the Ashland camp. 18 matches in two days .... now that sounds like fun! Good opportunity to get some different looks.

Yeah, but if you get 15 people, it's $50 a wrestler. And with only 15 (out of the 14) every kid could get their money's worth.

15 matches...$50 around $3 or $4 a match. Par for the course. Most open tournament will get you 3 to 5 matches for $12 or $15.

I think the best part of it is you get the exposure that can be career changing. Sometimes I think kids think it's just them out there trying to do things with no direction. Or the top level guys are that way because something happened when they were in the womb. But if you get out and recognize that people are working 2, 3 or even 5 days a week to try to get better, the improvement comes and most importantly, it's NOT just them. They have a good friend or a teammate that is alongside of them.

I hope to make it up for one day to watch.
