Grove City Christian was not open week one. When we find somebody for week one; it will be probably a home and home series.And to answer the question about 2011 it probably won't be that year either because we play week 2-3 at home against Nelsonville York and Fisher since both contracts were signed this year. Maybe 2012 when they can meet up. By the way NCF was talking about another school's head coach that he knows he was not referring to Newark Catholic.

I thought I made it clear early on I was not talking about the coach from Newark Catholic.

As a fan and one who never went to N.C. I can honestly say I am not shock by this pick especially after talking to a coaching friend of mine on the high school level.

I do not like this pick but think it will be a tougher contest then it should be especially if the Green Wave keep things as they were last season.

I was told this by one at Newark Catholic.

Yes we are playing Harvest Prep but I forgot to ask if it was home or away I asked Coach Boren whether if it was home or away and Billy did not tell him that either. I will find it out when I go over there on saturday.

Just spoke with Mogadore HC and what I was told was NC wanted a 2 yr contract and Mogadore has a game for 2010.

On another site I saw the Patrick Hamler was looking for a week one game if that helps at all.

As an AC fan, I hate to see this series end, though I haven't been able to attend the past 4 meetings. Good close matchup almost every year, but change is good sometimes I suppose. AC, for those who might be interested, appears to be playing Franklin Heights wk. 1 now. Good luck to NC finding a good opponent. For the players' sake, I hope you do play week 1. You only get so many games in your HS career, and as a player I would want to play every possible week, regardless of opponent quality (well, not a new program/JV-level opponent perhaps).
