It's official. My audition for Last Comic Standing is March 20th at 10:15am. I'm getting in Friday morning. So that means I have Friday night, Saturday afternoon and night, and Sunday afternoon free.

Any recommendations as to what I should do in the Big Apple? What should I see? Anywhere specific I should eat? Any bars I should check out?

The last time I was in NYC...I was a senior in high school, and spent a grand total of 24 hours in the city.

Carnegie Deli on 7th & 55th

Pastrami on rye...be hungry. There are a ton of places to eat but it's a classic.

I would also spend some time in the South St. Seaport area. I think you can catch the ferry to the Statue from here as well, lots to do in a small area.

Gotta just pick some hi-light areas, you think you'll have a lot of time but it will run on short supply very fast :)

Heres some suggestions..

Whats the deal with lampshades! haha..

Or this one is actually an original..

"My friends get on me all the time for carrying cash in my jeans pockets. Their like "dude, wheres your wallet?" I don't have a wallet. I'm lucky to have 40 bucks at any given time in my life. What am I going to do, spend all my money for an empty wallet? I don't think so. If I can make it rain in my pants or pull out an empty wallet.. I think Ill make it rain.

Wear black and don't show 'em the white part of your neck, you'll fit in just fine.

Good luck.

If you are into traditional philly cheesesteak there is a place I stumbled across called 99 Miles to Philly which is a great for lunch. Little Italy has a lot of nice places to eat and I've been to a little cafe (never saw the name) that advertises the world's best canolis a few times and they don't disappoint.

Usually when I am in NYC I just wander and find new places to stop but those are two I have made a point to go back to. Enjoy and good luck!
