I was about 22ish when i started getting a noticeable receding hairline. about 23ish i started getting gray areas. then last year when i was 25 it finally started thining out on top. although the sides of my head arent thining at all and are as thick as ever. makes it frustrating because the barbers are afraid to cut the top of my head and i have to keep reminding them that even though its thin, the hair that is there is still growing haha. i can grow a full beard in like 3 days, but cant grow anything on the top of my head!

I stopped going to the barber around age 30. Wasn't worth paying them anymore. I cut it myself now with clippers #1 all over and done. Quite liberating actually. No more hairspray and the wind can't mess up the hair.

Never. If my hairline follows the rule (mother's fathers) then I am set. He had a full, thick head of hair until he went through chemo when he was in his mid-60s.

28 (almost) and haven't had anything to worry about yet. Going gray quick though, starting around 23.

My hair has gotten darker the older I get, a few grey ones here and there. I look at the floor after getting it cut and I am amazed... and always say that when I was a kid it was always blond. It's a bit thinner, but nothing like my one older brother who has a severe receding hairline and my old brother who has the same bald spot on top/back like my dad had.

One thing I learned real quick when my hair was thinning is to wear a hat or apply sunscreen to my scalp. Nothing burns faster than your head.

lol, yea i've been using it for about 6 months now, and i have stopped losing, tho the re-growth isn't as noticeable, but I think I can see a little coming back... Basically, you have to get on it when you first start to thin, because once you lose it all, it's gone

I'm 23, and I've been losing some every time I take my hands through my hair for YEARS now. Receeding hairline since junior high.
