I've got a decision to make. I got shut out of our school's bus trip to New York city the same weekend of the State football championships(apparently the line formed at midnight and people camped out in our student center instead of showing up @ 8:30 like the form said to sign up). I was thinking about driving up to NYC that weekend. But, I've always wanted to go to a State Championship weekend in Ohio. Huddle Nation, what should I do? head to the city that never sleeps or buy two books of tickets and enjoy six great football games?

Definitely New York. When you are there, go punch Big Apple Buckeye in the face, only because he calls himself BAB's on the internets. :exclamation:

For the record assclown, someone coined that nickname for me, I didn't name myself that! Perhaps you can kill yourself and we can forget the whole thing?

LOL! Ok. Busting out the assclown again. Just because someone "coined" a nickname for you doesn't mean it's a good idea to use it yourself.

Can we get back to the discussion of the thread?

Sure! Darby, don't go anywhere! Stay online, where internet tough guys like Society reign supreme, and "virtually" punch him in the face for me. :)

Shut up children.

I'm the opposite of Tebow... I could give a rat's ass about NY, but still love to watch some good HS football. I'd be in Stark County.

I'm the opposite of BOTH Tebow and ts1227. Not only do I not care about NY, but I also don't care about high school playoffs to any degree more than what game(s) I might have to cover.

Therefore, during whatever days the state championships are, I'll be hanging with friends, drinking heavily and watching college football and/or basketball.

There is so much to see.We have been to alot of places in NYC but this year our goal is to see the Christmas tree and Yankee stadium.Going in the back alleys and buildings of chinatown for fake purses was the scariest and weirdest experience ever.

I've been to New York 3 times, once at Christmas. Seen the old Stadium but haven't been up to the new one. I'm leaning towards buying a ticket booklet and heading over for State Championship wknd. I'd have to sell my DIV tickets for Friday @ 11am, but I could make the five games after that

Easy for me since I've never been to NYC. I don't care much about high school football anymore now that I gradauted and don't live in my hometown. I would think NYC has the potential to be a lot more fun.

I'd say NYC. But then again, there are too many tourists here.

I'd go to NYC. Most of the games except one or two are blowouts anyway.

well, I'm just a fan of football in general and I've never experienced a state championship weekend, that's kind of why I thought about going. The only drawback to the New York Trip is you only get 12 hours in the city then you're right back on the bus. About the right amount of time for me to conduct all my Christmas shopping, but not enough to go do some other fun stuff. Plus the 7 hour bus ride there and back really sucks ass.

Yep and when you finally do get to sleep, someone pulls out a potatoe chip bag and makes what seems like a ton of noise.

not exactly, you get somebody leaning on you and putting a body part to sleep and making your trip VERY uncomfortable.
