Yeah, one more win gets us a medal ... if it's tomorrow, it gets us silver, if it's Saturday, it gets us bronze. Two more wins gets us gold.

The Swiss played a very hard forechecking game and Hiller played out of this world.

Canada outshot us 45-22 and we won.
Believe me... that was going through my head during a lot of this game.
That sequence where Switzerland almost scored and then the USA had a goal waved off was bizarre. I was pretty sure the Swiss had scored, and that nothing on the other end was going to matter. Then to find out the shot had actually hit the post -- only to have our goal nullified by a penalty -- I've never felt so lucky and unlucky on the same play at the same time.

Tight game for the US, the Swiss have been a tough out for evryone they've played in this tournament. Hiller has been unreal, I can't remember a team being out shot as bad as the Swiss have and their goalie keeping them in every game like this.
I really think we were looking ahead to the semifinals today and the boys can't play that way Friday or they will definitely lose.

BTW, piss on Canada and their fans. They booed us every chance they got today, must still be feeling the sting of that loss a couple days ago. Hell they still complain about losing the World Cup of Hockey on home soil to us!
