Someone PM me the code/regular format and I'll add it to this post, I just wanted to get discussion going 'cause I'm super excited.
GO USA! Here's hoping Miller > Hiller.

Anyone see that goal that went THROUGH the net in the canada germany? I didnt watch a whole lot more after that as they soon made it 3-0.
I believe I know the answer....but correct me im wrong. They do wait til a break to review it which is good. If there is another goal scored between that time does that goal still count? I think it does..just want clarification
it was a keen eye by the announcer who mentioned it pretty quickly....either he saw it or a producter who told him..dont know.....

I'm guessing they review it no matter what because to just ignore it would draw tremendous heat from someone.
US needs to keep playing hard as they have been in the first 3 games. I still don't think we have seen their best game yet but they need to get more shots and go after the Swiss today. Miller must outplay Hiller because Hiller is capable of stealing this game away if he is on.

I like that Burke was so vocal about the team's shortcomings from the Canada game. They can't afford to be cocky now. Save it for Monday.

^^Oh they do and did review it but they wait until the next break in the action...and with hockey at times taht can be a few minutes off the time clock.
In seeing the replays you could barely see the puck in their slo-mo and it went thru net. I was flippin back and forth and noticed they counted it but dont know if they discussed it on tv.
Im assuming all the time they played after said goal before the replay ISNT replayed and any goals in that time would count...Im just looking for clarification for those who would know for sure.
This is def no gimmie today. Some teams dont belong on the same ice with the big boys, like Germany, but a team like Switz could def beat US.

If they continue to play without going back to the point in action when the goal was scored (time wise) than anything AFTER that would still count.
It is like in basketball (or any sport). A guy hits a 3 but his foot is on the line. they might wait till the next break and review it to count only 2. The foul that stopped the clock still counts, any other points still count, etc.
In hockey its slightly different since you re-start with a face-off, but im almost positive the principle is the same and everything still counts.

laley..thanks. Didnt even think about that in basketball. I figured that was the case. Sometimes I just overanalyze shit.

Wow. Midweek NBC daily coverage. Impressive.
Has NBC been putting on anything during the weekday in the olympics? Pretty impressive hockey has made it on!
US is teh reigning champs in U17, u18 and U20 hockey i think i read in the paper so looks like US hockey is on the rise!

At least the Swiss are pretty damn bad in the offensive zone or we'd be losing.

Good sequence there. Hiller up to the task, but three quick shots is good.

Hiller is really on his game today. U.S. with 18 shots in the first, Hiller stopped 'em all.
Still 0-0.
Still 0-0.
