typical tough Big Ten road win,and I'll take the victory--GO BUCKS!!!

On Bufords actions, I really don't see much wrong with it. I know that "student-athletes" are held to a higher standard, but it was his peers that were heckling him. I understand that he should be the bigger man and should be used to that on the road in the Big 10, but I've seen much worse. The crotch grab wasn't real classy, but I'm sure the Penn State students are okay. And for pointing to the scoreboard, I don't blame him. They were up 7 at that point with 30 seconds left (I think). The game was over.

I'm sure Matta will handle it when he sees replays of it---ole WB may be running until he pukes

Common Man and the Torg are discussing this on the air right now. They said they have gotten emails saying to kick Buford off the team. Give me a break. They are talking about how people see things so differently between football and basketball...ie: keep Worthington after DUI, kick off Buford...such a double standard.
They are in support that it wasn't a big deal at all, that that stuff happens often...just not caught on camera often.

Bottom line, stupid move by Buford. By all accounts, he hasn't sniffed a lick of trouble whle at OSU. Let Matta deal with it. At most, don't start him. But i doubt we even see that. I don't like it nor condone it....but definately not that big of an issue.

Not letting him start his next game would be too severe of a punishment. I'm really shocked that this is even warranting a discussion.

I thought it was funny....... how retarded do you have to be to taunt an opposing player that dropped a dozen on you when you are about to get beat?

Here is my prediction. Buford will only receive minor punishment. I say Matta benches him for the first half against Michigan.

I think I'll trust Matta to do what HE thinks is necessary in this situation. His program has been a clean as any in the nation during his tenure at OSU.

One half suspension would be a very harsh punishment.

I'm not saying he deserve a half of suspension but we know people like to complain, which may cost Matta pressure to take action. We will see though.

Non-story in my opinion. Run a couple extra sprints, be disciplined, and it's over with. And we shouldn't have to "know" what his punishment is, because that is between him and Matta.
