A defensive effort like the last 3 games would go a long way to beating SC. Zero offensive TDs to some pretty good offenses.

hmmm Justice Hayes has reopened his recruiting after earlier this month saying he was 100% Irish as well as saying that he was helping to recruit other players...Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee, Northwestern, and Iowa are supposedly in the running and there is no word on whether ND is still an option.

So we have one guy decommit after he spreads his father's ashes on campus, and we have another decommit whose twitter is "notredameboy__" and also got an ND tattoo. What the fuck?

Rumor has it he is scared of playing time with Wood looking so good and Huggins possibly on the way.

I'm not all that crushed by this, Wood will be the feature back for the next three years. Getting an RB next year is a must if we don't get Huggins though.

Huggins did not go to the Army game due to a family illness apparently though.

He also changed his twitter name to hotnewsoon. The guy he mentioned in that first tweet was laying into Hayes about being stupid for choosing ND and had been going back and forth with him for a while.

ND is still in the mix for Hayes.
"Last weekend when I went to the (Notre Dame) game I was just uncomfortable with a couple of situations," Hayes told Rivals.com. "Me and my family ultimately decided to open back up my recruiting process.

"It was very tough because I have been strong with them for almost six, seven months now. It's a great school and I had some great times with them, there were just some things that we were uncomfortable with."

Apparently he complained that "his family wasn't taken care of" at the game. As in, they had to watch the game in the rain LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

He also stormed the field with the students after the Utah game. This is just so, so odd.

^^^^I'm still a Blue and Gold guy. I like the green jerseys but they need to be put away and only brought out as an absolute surprise for big games.

I'll wait until the facts come out to make a judgement but if these allegations are true then the accused player should be thrown out of the school and face criminal charges. Again, I hope this is a huge rumor and amounts to nothing. It seems every time Kelly starts to get the train moving in the right direction it gets derailed by an off the field issue.

Wow, what the hell is going on at ND? Not sure I have ever heard any recruit make a comment like that after a visit. Then the other issue with the suicide? Very odd....

Sounds like "he and his family" are very high maintenance.

I'm not that upset about losing him if that's the case.
