Yeah, a NSFW forum was never a good idea.

I'd like to think of what's acceptable outside of a forum with my behavior inside of it. Yeah, I'm down to talk about sports, trivial crap, and maybe even debate a few political points with pretty cool semi-strangers, most of which are men.

But, I don't think I'd be down to kick back with those same men and pop in some hardcore porn, and then have a discussion about it amongst ourselves.

The Daily Record services the better part of three counties...Wayne, Ashland, Holmes...and the southwestern part of Medina. Doerksen has been around awhile, and is a pretty well known and respected writer in the area.

1. People don't have to fear the gong here, but use some common sense. If you post a huge rant with several offensive words in it, that doesn't look good for this place.

2. Even though that copyright scare the other day was just a prank, JC might want to take steps to protect himself and also differentiate this site from the other huddle. As their site falters, they may target this place.

3. We will probably have to add some content if newspapers are going to be plugging the site. Otherwise they are just plugging an internet message board.
re #1) agree. left a message on the rules page that a rant or post with a bunch of f. you's or f bombs will not be a positive for this site. would like to see that cleaned up a tad. i think it will only help make this site look better and better---gives it more legitimacy in my mind, and I think the mind of the public.
I will concur with this. In order to remain free we should all be wise when posting. Police yourself and no one will police you. I am no prude and on occasion drop f bombs myself. None of us would walk into our local school dropping f bombs. Be wise and keep it civil. Definately keep the high school forums clean. Here in the general forum it can be somewhat relaxed.

As for content it should be provided by our members. Many of us are more than willing to donate our time to provide info to other users. We have quite a diverse membership so far. We have doctors, lawyers, engineers, IT professionals, sports writers, coaches, teachers, military personel, people of all trades... You name it they are here. It is quite amazing how this site has grown. Lets keep it up.

Aaron Dorksen has always been one cool cat in my book, but now he's just AWESOME! Haha! The Daily Record is 2nd to none when it comes to high school sports coverage of its area teams.

300 - if you want to know why that's not actually funny (or taboo any longer) let me know. Otherwise, feel free to amuse yourself.

wasn't me either....although pitman seems to be rather fond of Dork. I must agree, the Daily Record is one of the state's best papers in local HS coverage.

You might be surprised... I happened to be in the car when that person you ripped found out for sure that it was not an issue if she moved back to your little alotment. Hence, no longer a joke... I thought there was going to be a truce ?

It's a shame that nobody will be able to read it in Wooster.
