Pretty good finish to it as well. US took the lead and then couldn't hold it, but I would say 2 silvers in Nordic Combined events for the US is pretty damn good.

For you guys who are forced to watch Women's Figures Skating on NBC, turn the TV volume on mute and play this song during the skaters routine....

Nothing like a little Chazz Michael Michaels "The Stroke" music to make Olympic figure skating viewing a little more watchable...

Very sad when the Canadian girl skated and they showered her Father in the crowd. Her Mother was only like 56 when she passes suddenly on Saturday. I hope she gets the Bronze.

A stupid mental mistake like that is a horrible way to lose, especially when he absolutely dominated.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

The Canadian figure skater whose mother passed away recently just skated on NBC. It was inspirational. The crowd went wild for her, and she scored her all time personal best. Currently in 3rd place.

Yeah, I think she got a little home cooking sympathy on that score. The American girl totally got jobbed and should have won bronze.

I don't know, all I saw was those two, and I have no idea who was better.
Really a great story for her with a Bronze medal.

That's right. As you read this, an emergency shipment of condoms is desperately making its way across Canada to the West Coast city.

Health officials in Vancouver have already provided 100,000 free condoms to the roughly 7,000 ahtletes and officials at the Games. That's about 14 condoms per person. But as of Wednesday, those supplies started running dangerously low.

So naturally, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS research decided to step and make sure there were no hitches in Olympic action.

"When we heard about the condom shortage in Vancouver, we felt it important to respond immediately," said Kerry Whiteside, CANFAR's Executive Director. The organization assembled three large boxes of about 8,500 condoms, much to the relief of libidos at the Olympic Village. They're expected to arrive on Thursday.

Thus proving that the Olympic village is, in fact, a wild sex party.

Apparently so. Even at a wild sex party 14 condoms in 12 days is a crap load to go through. Especially when you consider many of the athletes probably aren't doing it on some nights because they have a race the next day.

Plus all the women's hockey players don't need them anyways.

Yeah, you gotta figure some of those 7,000 aren't partaking in the activities, so that means a bunch of athletes are picking up the slack. I bet the Canadian men's hockey players are doing their part.

4-0 now.

I don't even think it was all Kiprusoff's fault. The Fins are playing some awful defense.
