I won't lie. My feelings are hurt. I can't sleep at night. I've lost my appetite. My hair is falling out in clumps. It has not been a good two weeks for me. But I'm going to hang in there. The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.

Exactly right, and that's why I am going to credit this years domination to the coaches, hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

P.S. Keep going for two. How did that work out for you against Ridgewood?

It worked out great Sebastian. Don't you remember? They just got screwed by the refs again. I would think the athletic budget at the Wood is getting really tight. First they pay off the refs every other year when the Vern comes to town, and now they are even paying off the refs in the playoffs. Just asked some of the people from Oak Hill. It is sad that the Wood has to resort to these tactics to win, but at least the Wood will never have to worry about a shortage of zebras for their games. I bet they will be waiting in line for that extra 1,000 bucks everytime the Wood takes the field.

So........... I come to learn about Malvern and GC Christian and am waiting on some intelligent input on either team. Does anyone KNOW anything about how many GC Christian players came over from Grove City's team not having football? Any info?

Oh yeah, almost forgot the most important point, there COACH! Reigning Division 6 Coach of the Year. Master of the 2-point conversion. If GCC can out play Malvern's players, they will be hard-pressed to out coach that genious. Only one who can do that is the almighty Slusser.

GCCS picked up five players from the Dawgs (one went back due to a lack of playing time). They also picked up a player from two other South-Western City Schools teams and a player from a DIII school. These young men combined with the returning 18 starters from last year's 9-1 team to form a squad that has been a nice distraction without GCHS fielding a team this year for many of us here in GC. Everyone realizes that they are in the deep end of the pool against a strong program like Malvern, but hey you have to play those teams at some time to run with the big boys. They will be a team I make time to watch next year even when the Dawgs are playing again. Good luck to both teams, and congrats to both schools for getting to the regional finals.

Riders, here is a little information on Malvern if you are still looking. They are a sub-par team that looks to run the ball. Don't worry about the QB beating you with his arm, but rather his legs. They will give the ball to Mojo numerous times throughout the game either up the middle on a trap or to the outside on a sweep. Stop him and GCC will be fine. Prepare to stop the two point conversion too. God knows that they LOVE going for it. Defensively they are mediocre. Their line is good size and will look to beat and wear you down. Not very fast though. Secondary wise, not very good. If GCC can spread them out, they will have success because they don't cover anyone. Case in point were the TCC and Newc. games where they were burnt. Best of luck to you guys.

Wow, Sebastian, you never cease to amaze. It really is horrible to be sub-par and still in the playoffs. Ridgewood is sub-par as well because they beat the Hornets by 1. It should be a good game again this week. Play the game the way it is supposed to be played and see what happens.

Is the rumor I hear about Mojo being out due to a concussion true? if so, that would level the field a bit but i still pick the vern by a TD.
