My card information was stolen and there was over $10,000 in charges in France. $200 of it came through, but it was overturned. My girlfriend had her's stolen around the same time and someone in Michigan tried to charge over $1,000 to it. Her roommate had her's stolen just months before that. My bank told me there was a local restaurant that was part of a skimming ring so they thought mine was stolen there. We all have different banks, but frequent many of the same establishments so we don't know which one it was. It all sucks though.
