1.Fort Frye after hearing how the scrimmage went and Trail being full of injuries I think Fort Frye will win there 5th striaght PVC title.Jarid Bates will be better then Beros.If they can rebound they will be tough to beat by far the best shooting team in the league.

2.Trail-Need Beros back quickly might struggle without a player like Collart,Jed Beros,Bobby,and Allen players who want to take big shots.

3.Frontier-I hae been off and on in my head about the rest of the league.Like Fickeisen and the teams defense but not the teams offense.Nick Burnoni could be the leagues best defender.

4.Shenandoah-Dalton Doudha has to score from the perimeter big Wes is bnot good enough to beat teams by himslef.

5.Monroe Central-I am not sure if they have much besides DLD.

6.River-Jordan Potts is good bbut with Dylan and Jeffers it will be a long year for the Pilots.

7.Caldwell-Awful lost to Fort Fryes JV.Even though I think Fort Fryes JV is pretty good come on.

Fort Frye will have tough games vs Warren and Belpre out of league.I am sure if Bobby gets healthy the game @ Trail in january will be a tough one.

Kaponos- 1ST Team all league
Bobby Beros- When healthy and focused no one can stop this kid.
Derek-London Dierkes-If wants can be really good not alot of help behind him
Corey Fickeisen-Might be rushing this kid since he has not proved it on the court but the kid is very good.
Jarid Bates-Just like Engle,Thompson,and Thieman should be right up there for player of the year.
Garrett Legrean- Has worked on his skill set and will shock people.

2nd team
Greg Strausser Trail- This kid can play but not sure if he can carry a team by himself
Cody Nelson Trail- Beast and best rebounder rarely stays healthy
Donald Hilverding Fort Frye-With the injury to Watson might need to step up.
Jordan Potts River- Great shooter with little help on his team.
Dalton Douhda Shenandoah- Another great shooter in this league

ALL Defense
Branden Murhpy-Frontier Can shut down about any one player
Brett Farnsworth Shenandoah
Nick Burnoni Frontier
Greg Strausser Trail
Mcgilton Caldwell

It stinks hat freshman stud Brandon Fanrsworth can not play for Shenandoah.

I think McGilton has a younger brother.

Almost 100 percent positive he doesn't have a younger brother. Are you sure you're not thinking of the Morris kid? They're about the same size and same features, and I believe there was some talk about him playing basketball this year. Not sure if he played last year or not.

Home and away jerseys, lots of teams do this.

Not really anymore teams se to do it ealry 2000's but its not common at all now.Both Caldwell and Shenandoah doing it this year.

Regarding the jerseys - I remember a LONG time ago all teams had even numbers for home and odd numbers away (may have been the other way around). I always thought they might have done that to avoid confusion when fouls were called or something like that. Anyone know if that was ever a rule or just common practice?
