"Coach Kelly told me that I will be given a chance to play any position that I would like," Spond said. "At the same time, I will do what it takes for the better of the program wherever it is, and I trust in the coaches putting me wherever they feel is the best."
"Having the privilege to play for the University of Notre Dame is a true blessing from God," Spond said. "I thank Him for the opportunity He has given me and the talent I have been blessed with. I can't wait for the upcoming years at Notre Dame."

Following BK recrutiing for the past three years for UC, all I have to say is get used to it. BK likes to have a lot of QB's on the roster. He will also convert some of them to the defensive side of the ball.j_crazy wrote: sounds like the irish are putting together a good class. i'm confused as to why they are taking so many QB's especially with crist, mulvey and castello on the roster.
