4* danny spond has committed to the irish....booyah!

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/highschool/02/01/spond-irish/index.html?eref=sihp
"Coach Kelly told me that I will be given a chance to play any position that I would like," Spond said. "At the same time, I will do what it takes for the better of the program wherever it is, and I trust in the coaches putting me wherever they feel is the best."
"Having the privilege to play for the University of Notre Dame is a true blessing from God," Spond said. "I thank Him for the opportunity He has given me and the talent I have been blessed with. I can't wait for the upcoming years at Notre Dame."

Do you realize what you just said? Fucking god, we just went over this with ccrunner. "Then" refers to time, "than" is comparing something. You just told us that you would rather be an asshole for a team that wins bowl games, and soon thereafter be an asshole for a team that blows.

Some Ohio State education, jackass...
Wow, I didn't realize people had time to proofread the internetz.

MY BADS! LOL
Also, I thought you'd appreciate it. He's working hard so you don't have to!
I lol'd.
Why thank you.

Gee, most people usually prefer to just "Not be an asshole", then they worry about what teams they root for. Priorities I guess.

sounds like the irish are putting together a good class. i'm confused as to why they are taking so many QB's especially with crist, mulvey and castello on the roster.

Following BK recrutiing for the past three years for UC, all I have to say is get used to it. BK likes to have a lot of QB's on the roster. He will also convert some of them to the defensive side of the ball.

Yeah either Montana or receiver John Goodman would have been #2 on the depth chart without the incoming freshmen. And like danny said, some will be moved to other positions. Roback is coming in as an athlete already.
