I think the Tigers will pull out the victory in this one. I thought they did a good job shutting down Hoovers running game.

I wouldn't put the cart before the horse. McKinley may be playing their best football, of this season, the last 3 games, but "on any given day" that could come to an end. Massillon's defense has stopped two great running teams the last two games. The Massillon defense is playing with passion and a lot of heart. Will it be enough, don't know but we will see Saturday.

I'm not sure anyone "matches up" with Glenville right now. The last several years it seems like Iggy has been their downfall. Now with that out of the way, this could be their year. I don't think anyone doubts the talent Glenville has. If and I said IF they can control the penalties and mistakes this just might be their year to win it all.

But neither team (Massillon or McKinley) is playing them this Saturday. Your post assumes Glenville beats Solon, that is by no means a given. Solon is tough and will give Glenville all they can handle. That will be the same in Akron this Saturday night. Both teams will play hard and I don't think you will see the same Massillon team you saw in Week 10. Does that mean Massillon will win...NO, but it means McKinley will have to play a very good game to win. Massillon WILL NOT lay down and give the game to McKinley. The Pups will have to earn the win.

Ok here the thing yes massillon shut down howard . But hoover only has one running back that the real deal. The bulldogs has more then one running back that could be a big part in the game.. If the bulldogs hold on the ball and no turn over. Massillon d will be on the field for a long time. Well not be good for the tigers but. Any thing can happen I seen some crazy stuff in big game. I think that McKinley is clicking, too. Clicking so well, that, they will be overlooking the Tigers this weekend, in search of a Regional Title.

Massillon will be more focused this weekend, and looking for revenge, for a week 10 loss.

I agree mvp, unfortunately, they DO have (at least) 2 good RBs, AND Kyle O. is throwing the ball pretty well to (at least) 2 good recievers. The defense is playing very aggresive. What the heck, we had a good run.

Ah....HELLO? Where the heck is everybody? We got the two winningest programs in the state, two of the winningest programs in the country, the biggest rivalry in the country playing in a game in which the winner gets to send its rival home to clean out their lockers. Two programs that respect each other but are able to put that respect aside long enough to despise each other.

OK, like here's the thing. Yes NC only had one running back, Howard. BUT...Twinsburg had three very good running backs. You are correct, if McK can run the ball and maintain good time consuming drives and score at the end of the drives...they win. But that is a BIG IF. Anything can and will happen in this game...so although I'm hoping for a Tiger win...I wouldn't put money on either team.

Looking for a good, clean, injury free game. The way it should be. The winner will be the best team this Saturday night.

I don't have a cyrstal ball (like some), so I don't know who is going to win, but I DO believe the Tigers will be up to the challenge and will give the Bulldogs all they want. Looking for a good injury free game...after all the winner has a big challenge next week.

No one said anything about anyone owning anyone nor did I mention any past Mass Mck games I referred to the game three weeks ago, and in THAT game Hall was out coached no one is looking at who is the better coach over time we are looking at saturday, Massillon was outcoached at Steubenville (DIII) AND they couldn't stop the run, And based on 3 weeks ago and last week if the passing game is going to make massillon....they better make their beds cuz i'm pretty sure massillons stats through the air werent spectacular....I dont have a crystal ball either and its obvious massillon will come to play cuz they have to its the Regional Final. I just feel Mck is on a roll and that roll will continue

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your post. Feel free to correct me, but isn't 3 weeks ago a past Massillon/McKinley game?? Was Hall outcoached or were the Massillon Players outplayed...there is a differnce, you know. Everyone wants to protect the players when they aren't into the game...so the scapegoat becomes the Head Coach...maybe as it should be, but don't confuse coaching with playing. If your going to blame coaches...blame the entire staff...not just the Head Coach. That will also hold true IF Massillon wins Saturday night. It will not be entirely Johnson's fault...although he will be blamed.

You are correct McKinley is on a roll and should be the favorite...but then there was that game (in the future) three weeks ago. Massillon was the heavy favorite and got their ass handed to them, by a McKinley team that clearly outplayed them. I really don't think they will sneak up on Massillon this Saturday.

If a team is out played on any given day USUALLY it is due to lack of preparation, which lies on the hands of the HEAD COACH, whose job it is to prepare his coaching staff as well as his players, and if you want to use the SCAPEGOAT of the Dogs sneaking the Tigers the first time around that's fine too, but either way there is going to be some head knocking going on and I can't wait to see it

The Massillon McKinley game, week 10, does not get used to judge either team, the rest of the season. That game is played with emotion. It could go either way, any year. Hell, in 1974 Massillon came in at 5-4, and McKinley was 9-0 and picked to win state that year. Massillon won, and kept McKinley out of the playoffs.

Like I said, McK is flying high right now, and Massillon is on a mission. I have seen enough McK games to know, as soon as McK gets behind or flustered, they give up. As soon as McK sees this game slipping away this Saturday, they will be done.

At what point did you prove me wrong Coyete what is spectacular about a passing game that produced 10 points. And I wasnt aware that being a "fan" was a measuring stick of one's knowledge. I am well aware of the history of the two schools and hear about the '74 teams every year, I dont claim to know everything but I feel I can comment knowledgeably on both of these teams seeing as how I've taped Mck vs. Wayne, Mck vs. Glenoak 1 & 2, Mck vs. Whitmer, Mck vs. Mass, so I've the tale of two Mcks and I am aware of the emotion that goes into the Massillon Mck being from Stark County and having family that have participated on both sides, and on the other hand I've taped Mass vs. Bucthel, Mass vs. Iggy, Mass vs. Steubenville, so i've seen the Massillon that had troubles in Harding Stadium scoring 3 points and being out physicaled as well as the Tiger team that struggled in the 1st Half of the Iggy game only to come back and look like the best team in the state in the 2nd half only to have the game basically stolen from them by officiating. So before you assume that since one isnt a fan they dont know what they are talking about, remember there are people who are fans of FOOTBALL and who observe closely with no allegiance....
