I can't stand listening to Bob Knight commentating. I'm all for him doing anything else, but when he does the games I feel like he's trying to coach me to death. As cheesy as it sounds, I want a commentator who can paint a picture with his words. Not one who can tell me the proper way to run the pick-and-roll.

I really respect Bob Knight as a coach and a commentator but sometimes he does tend to get a little long winded with some of his explanations other than that I love listening to him during games.

That's what play-by-play men are for. Color commentators are normally known for their analysis and basketball expertise.

I agree. I remember killing Rec a couple of years ago about Enberg slipping, but the last few times I've heard him he seems to be back on his game. Maybe he took some HGH or something.
