I cant believe I started 70 threads......................sorry guys.
No need to apologize--12 of those 70 (17.1%) were among the top 100 threads on the Huddle. You apparently post interesting things that drive traffic.
You really are a nice guy to put it that way.
Wait, let me reflect...........12 of the 70 were good threads for a batting average of .171, according to you, the guru of "who's the top poster".
Can't you see what you are doing, my friend? Your stats are making certain posters make stupid threads just to get on your "top ten" lists.
But, even though you do this "thang"..............I still like ya!
I look at it more like a "guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people" sort of thing. Having ratings like this is a great way to generate traffic. In a perfect world, perhaps there wouldn't be stupid threads created to get on this list...but I'd also say that in a perfect world, people wouldn't flock to stupid threads to post retorts and shit to make said threads so popular.
It's kind of a simple thing. If people don't respond to stupid threads, they drop out of sight and don't get ranked. If the people who make stupid threads notice nobody gives a shit about their stupid threads, they might desist from making stupid threads. The only issue I have with the rankings are that because I rarely start threads, even though I'm the god, jebus and holy gizz-ost of FreeHuddle, I'll never be ranked. But other than that...I don't blame the ratings and I don't even blame creators of stupid threads (they're just having fun in their own special way)...I blame all of us that make those threads successful enough that stupidity is encouraged.
