Should be a walk for Ohio State but they seem to play down to the competitiion. Need to keep their heads in the game and open up the play book

Like Bo said our Run Defense is pretty solid.
This is how our games have been going though.

Opponent runs runs runs...Gets nothing
They try to pass pass pass...March down the field
Since they are having success passing, we loosen up the coverage and they go back to run run run and get big gains because we are worried about the pass.

This entire process makes the opponent completely balanced and keeps our defense on their heels...which turns the game into a shoot out. We have some athletes on offense, but we are missing the maturity and the healthiness to be able to be in a shootout.

My thoughts on the game

IF we can keep Pryor scrambling and not be comfortable enough to throw, then our D will be a lot better than in the past few weeks. Our offense needs to keep the tempo up, keep OSU on their heels and sustain/finish drives.

IF we can win the T.O.P then we have a good shot at winning because that means we are sustaining drives and our D is off the field.

someone posted that this will be a snoozefest?? since when did beating Michigan get old?

As always, though, I worry about this one. Heck, I was nervous last year, then TP comes out and throws a pick. But we all know how that ended.

Having watched UM several times (and enjoyed them getting beat), I really like Forcier and some of their other young weapons. But there isn't much on defense besides No. 55, and I've always thought Greg Robinson was vastly overrated as a D-coordinator.

I'm gonna enjoy this one, because it's the last time we'll be the heavy favorite against the Wolves for awhile.

It wouldn't matter if Pryor got hurt the first play of the game. The pass D is so terrible that bauserman(sp) would have around 300 yards and 4 tds on us. I was hoping that kovacks would have a shitty game and get benched this week but he managed to fluke himself into a pick and saved his job this week.

I hope OSU wins. Keep the win streak against Michigan alive, and we'll have the pleasure of keeping them out of the bowl season.

I think OSU puts it in the air. If they don't they are dumb. Wiscy still pounded it out on the ground against UM at the end of the game... but OSUs running O isn't like Wiscys. UM will score some points I expect a 42-21 win.

Why open up the playbook when you are running for 200+ a game?

The only way OSU loses is if they get on the wrong bus and don't show up for the game. Is anyone even really that excited for this one?

I think one of the reasons you open up the playbook is because Michigan realizes that Ohio State likes to try and pound the ball down your throat, be tough on special teams, and win the field position battle. I would expect Michigan to load the box and dare the Bucks to throw the football. I think we should oblige them on occasion and third and long isn't the occasion I had in mind.

Saturdays have been pretty boring when the Bucks offense is on the field. :)

I'll take another 200+ yards on the ground from Saine/Herron/Pryor and the offensive line.

Its Michigan week, I wont count the chickens until they hatch! IMO, this is a good game for the Offense of the Buckeyes to improve in some areas, like passing the ball! lol

I say the Bucks win, but no prediction.

The Michigan fans saying that don't care as much cannot possibly be true fans. I know if OSU was in a situation similar to UM current situation I will be rooting my ass off to see my team beat UM as it is still a huge rivalry no matter what the records are. Also, a win makes UM bowl eligible. Which means more practice time for the team. So all UM fans should care.

I mean I like watching Michigan lose, but nobody else in the country will care about this one. No national implications + terrible michigan team= boring for everyone but OSU fans. Don't get me wrong, you will probably love it and have fun. But it is similar to the Clemson v South Carolina game, nobody outside the rivalry will care.

Ohio State should win easily. Should is the key word. You can throw out the records when these teams meet, though

Yeah i agree it doesn't matter who has a winning record or a loosing record because it's a totally different playing field. either side could have a loosing record and beat the other and be satisfied....

I don't think Michigan will be able to keeo even OSU's anemic offense out of the endzone. 35-14 OSU wins
