What does Cleveland sports history have to do with THIS year? I cant stand when people make that lame ass argument. The Saints had never been to a SB so I guess they were supposed to lose on Sunday, I mean given their past and all. That argument tired and weak.

All he said was that your fat. And disagreed with you. You decided to personally attack him for being "a typical jew" even though hes not even Jewish.

Try growing up.

I think this stat just shows how great of a defender Lebron is. He doesn't pick up cheap fouls because he's defensively sound and doesn't reach.

He may be the best defender in the history of the NBA, but you'll have the old timers come in here and lament about how great the old days were LOL.

Wilt Chamberlain played over 1300 games in 14 seasons and NEVER fouled out.

I love that Sage causes people to get angry at blacks and jews, yet I believe he's a white, non-jew. Absolutely fantastic.

So calling somebody "fat" isnt a personal attack? If you cant take it then dont dish it out. This guy started the thread for one reason and one reason only.......to ruffle some feathers and piss people off.

Calling somebody fat (WHICH IS A FACTUAL STATEMENT, AS HE ADMITS) and saying that I fuck somebody with my "big Jew nose" are a little different, dont u think?

one is fact vs one being an ethnic slur, AND IM NOT EVEN A SON OF DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a big difference, I wont argue with that. However, if you dont want the discussion to go that route then you shouldnt be the first to personally attack someone. Maybe calling an overweight person "fat" hurts as much as calling somebody with a big nose a Jew. I'm neither fat nor Jewish so I dont really care, I'm just saying that maybe you should see both sides of the argument.

As a female I am sometimes nervous about posting on sports threads because... well i suspect i will get a HEY! shut up and make me a sammich response BUT.... i seriously wonder if a 1 foul deviation from Kobe's is statistically significant. Just because someone's rank is higher or lower may or may not prove anything .... 1 or .4 less fouls than someone else doesn't prove much... if anyone who understood stats knows what i am getting at.

I mean the only real question I have is how often do you watch LeBron play? Because honestly, he doesn't foul. He either plays great defense and if he happens to get beat he lets his help take over and rotates somewhere else. I mean I won't argue that he gets preferential treatment, all the great ones do, but he really doesn't foul that often.

Well said. Let's stop the personal attacks and get back to the thread.

No personal attacks on the huddle? Martin had a dream, I suppose you can have one too.

Let me ask this to those out there.. last nights game against Miami - 2 or 3 times Wade got fouled on touch or phatom touches.. yet everytime Shaq posted up with the ball the defender had both arms outward and on his back and was allowed to do so all the way thru the Shaq shot? why is this? Why do big physical people get hit more then little people and it goes uncalled? I thought a foul was a foul???

I hear the word "disposition" as used to initiate a foul call? So then touch fouls should not be called? Jordan went to the line in his days many a times on touch fouls.. he also traveled much more then the current NBA player is allowed.

NBA officials are a joke.. Its who you are not what you did..

matter fact

think of the last time he was even in foul trouble

LeBron James’ statistics are amazing. He’s putting up 30 points, 7 boards, and 8 assists per for essentially the sixth season in a row, and there are exactly zero players who can get close to that trio of numbers for even one season. But he’s doing something else, just as consistently, that no one else of consequence is able to do: not get called for fouls.

Look at the personal fouls column for the top-10 scorers in the league. Nine of them collectively average 2.7 fouls per, falling within the range of 2.3 – 3.4. These nine include some of the NBA’s biggest names who obviously have “earned some calls,” guys who can easily score 10 from the charity stripe in a night while getting the refs’ attention for only their two most obvious hacks.

And the tenth player? That would be James, who averages 1.8–and that’s rounded up. Many people suspect the league helps protect the Wades, Kobes, Anthonys, and other marquee players who keep those turnstiles turning, but how in God’s green earth does LeBron absolutely smoke them all in not getting whistled for defensive misdeeds?

I'll agree with that. He plays really smart defense. And when he does get beat, he is athletic enough and quick enough to recover or like you said rotates like he should.

People can say whatever they want about Mike Brown(Lord knows I do), but he has made Bron a more complete basketball player.
