think of the last time lebron james fouled out of a game

matter fact

think of the last time he was even in foul trouble

something that i have been saying for years---PROVEN:
By: Zachariah Blott

LeBron James’ statistics are amazing. He’s putting up 30 points, 7 boards, and 8 assists per for essentially the sixth season in a row, and there are exactly zero players who can get close to that trio of numbers for even one season. But he’s doing something else, just as consistently, that no one else of consequence is able to do: not get called for fouls.

Look at the personal fouls column for the top-10 scorers in the league. Nine of them collectively average 2.7 fouls per, falling within the range of 2.3 – 3.4. These nine include some of the NBA’s biggest names who obviously have “earned some calls,” guys who can easily score 10 from the charity stripe in a night while getting the refs’ attention for only their two most obvious hacks.

And the tenth player? That would be James, who averages 1.8–and that’s rounded up. Many people suspect the league helps protect the Wades, Kobes, Anthonys, and other marquee players who keep those turnstiles turning, but how in God’s green earth does LeBron absolutely smoke them all in not getting whistled for defensive misdeeds?

How often did MJ get in foul trouble? Or Kobe?

So you're telling me that superstars get preferential treatment? Shocking! This has been going on for years. Who cares.

And?

Does this somehow show he isn't the best player in the world? Nope, move along.

LeBron guarded Quentin Richardson most of the game last night. Richardson took 5 shots and made one. Do you think he only made 20% of his shots because LeBron fouled him? I'd say its because he just isn't that good. Ron Artest must have only shot 30% from the field against Cleveland because LeBron was fouling him, right? LeBron usually forces his guy into taking low % jump shots. Sometimes they make them, sometimes they don't. He rarely puts himself into a position where fouling the guy has to occur, and in a lot of those occasions, his teammates foul before he has a chance to.

Nice rumor though. He averages .4 fouls less per game than Wade, and about 1 less than Kobe per game, which, both of those superstars are over 3 fouls on average from fouling out on any given night, but yes, the refs do love LeBron.

This news makes it even more amazing that Kobe was still able to do this regardless of the obvious refs bias.

Along with his MVP this year, his NBA Finals MVP, and the Finals Trophy.

Not talking shit, just like seeing your punk ass get fired up.

i kno, hb. haven't they seen this movie one hundred times?

i cant wait until the Atlanta Hawks take these clowns out in 6 games, and then lebron realizes he's surrounded by absolutely nobody (AND NO PROVEN CRUNCH TIME PERFORMERS) and he darts to play on the JV squad in LA.

that meaningless game on thursday really threw you in a tailspin, didn't it? you've been on the warpath of everything cavs since the clock hit zero that night

lakers are the best team in the nba and no amount of regular season wins by the cavs will change that. i look forward for the cavs hopefully getting there (unlike last season) and getting the opportunity to dethrone the champs...it would be one helluva series - a lot of season left, however

...regularly guarding extremely dynamic players who routinely go to the line.
I completely disagree with that assertion by the author. LeBron does, on occasion, guard Wade's, Kobe's and the Durantula's of the world. But he only does it in spurts, usually only in the last 6 minutes or for the entire fourth quarter at the outside. He spends the other 3 quarters not guarding anyone in particular, playing passing lanes, double teaming whomever and playing weak side help defense. Positions where he is unlikely to pick up fouls frequently if at all. LeBron is also a fundamentally sound defender who is too big for almost anyone to go through and too quick for all but the fastest players to get around him. The end result is that the man he guards winds up shooting jumpers most of the night, another outcome that will rarely if ever result in LeBron picking up cheap fouls. It is beyond question that LeBron gets the benefit of the doubt in most ambiguous foul situations, but LeBron rarely winds up in those situations in the first place. Its a well researched piece, but it hardly takes an objective point of view on which to base the research.

Wait, wasn't it you who started this thread to voice your hatred of LeBron and the Cavs? It's you talking shit, Cavs fans are just backing up their reasoning as to why LeBron is the best player in the NBA. Way to forget that you started this entire thing. No wonder someone once called you Dumb Jew Bitch.

completely forgot

h2izzo's fat ass was the one that called me a dumb jew bitch on the huddle. apologies to sq_crazies. I get my huddle closet racists mixed up at times. apologies.

and no doubt im talking shit.

not saying they cant

but to choose to talk shit about a forthcoming finals mvp and championship seems a bit idiotic given cleveland's history in those kind of GAMES, let alone a SERIES.

i mean, last year didnt i call the lakers winning in 5 games?

wasnt i killed by cavs fans then?

My point exactly. You run your mouth, start this fucking moronic thread, then say "Cavs fans running their mouths, etc." Get the fuck over it. You're seriously bitching over a .8 foul difference between LeBron and Kobe defensively? You ask for people to talk shit everytime you post something retarded like this.
