Won't surprise me as we expect the officiating to be tilted; we will overcome them as well.

Calpreps has this 31-21 Big Red. Usually they are pretty close. I think they may have missed this one by a bunch

Yeah, and they have Granville beating us by 3 even though we already beat them last week ............... can't put much stock into their projections.Cardshark wrote: Calpreps has this 31-21 Big Red. Usually they are pretty close. I think they may have missed this one by a bunch

I do know this .... better get there early if you want a seat; I think half of Salem is going to the game, and we already know Steuby brings a crowd.

I like Salem in an upset....I'm sure it's been discussed on here and perhaps the score was misleading, but the fact that Big Red had a close game with Marlington last week has to give the Salem kids confidence that they too can play with and even beat Big Red.
My prediction: Salem 27 Big Red 23

Salems confidence will go down once Big Red starts smacking them around. Big Red will be the more physical, faster, and in shape

I doubt it'll be half unless the retirement homes are sending busesQuakerOats wrote: I do know this .... better get there early if you want a seat; I think half of Salem is going to the game, and we already know Steuby brings a crowd.
But seriously, I know Salem sold about 500 tickets on Wed., and that was just during school hours. I'm sure the school and nighttime hours Thursday made a killing too. Definitely get there at least an hour early!

I wanna see salem's confidence when Big Red is blowing them 5 yards backward off the LOS, as they were against Marlington!!!!!
I'm hoping for a statement game here from the Red....seems there's a lot of doubters out there.
Big Red has beaten far better teams than Salem this year and it will take a better team to send the Red packing. If Big Red plays to it's potential: 31-7, Roll Red.

Marlington had a close game vs the Big Red reserves.
