The QB is legit - and so is Eisel #7 - real nice on special teams. I can see him taking one to the house...I'm sure the coaches are aware...

Probably any one of Liberty, Campbell, Girard, Hubbard etc.... We have a couple kids who were on the 4x200 sprint state championship relay team; hopefully you will get a glimpse of them Friday.

Should be a good match up of speed. Big Red is fast at every position. What time does everyone plan on getting to the game

Salem is apparently selling tickets pretty well; there were about 80 people in line this morning waiting for them to start selling!

(Now, I know Big Red is easily outselling Salem, but for the longest time you wouldn't find 80 people who gave a damn in Salem let alone all in line for advance tickets at one time!)

I hope Salem brings a large and loud crowd. If they do this should get Big Red's crowd going. Once it starts it wont stop

We may have twice as many as went to Granville - and we outdrew them there. I am looking forward to the atmosphere.

I am glad New Philly stadium has QUAKERS printed in the end zones ... we are going to feel right at home every time we score.

GO QUAKERS !!!!!!!!

quakeroats -

I expect a good game - and for our offense to visit that Quaker E-Z early and often.

On a side note - I was impressed with the Marlington crowd last week. I didn't think they would bring that many fans.

The weather forecast for this Friday is exceptional - if you're a "fair weather fan" this game is a must. 66 deg. with 10% chance of rain.

The only reason Big Red will be a bit short on fans is that Zach is starting for Cincinnati vs. WVU and this game is also Fri. night. I have talked to more than a few people who will forego our game to watch Cincy lay the wood to the Mountaineers. Ill be in New Philly....and likely at a sports bar afterward to catch the rest of this Cincy game.

It really is the most wonderful time of the year :o)

Go cincy. Steubenville should be proud of zach. However, I am rooting for Salem. Good luck to both teams.

No doubt, Zach is playing exceptional football right now.

And you're right, the weather looks good for the Quaker victory!

QuakerOats,

Just to show there are no hard feelings, I'll be more than happy to buy you a beer after the game. It's the least I can do...we can talk about your team's 2010 outlook as the Red prepares for the regional final.

PM me if you're interested...

It's a tough matchup for Salem.

Congratulation in making the playoffs to the Salem Quakers.

Too many horses for Big Red though...

Quaker Oats, maybe he wants a beer to cry into??? J/k

Which teams fans will be in red and which will be in black? That might be the only way to tell who is who.
