Good to see a Toledo boy make a big play.

I think it is basically, he made a "football move" and then regrouped and re extended, but it had already crossed the goal line by then.Non wrote: I never heard this first act, second act

thats on a running play, on a pass play you must maintain possession throughout the catch no matter where you are on the field.wes_mantooth wrote:I think it is basically, he made a "football move" and then regrouped and re extended, but it had already crossed the goal line by then.Non wrote: I never heard this first act, second act

Yeah, he was right. Arun and a pass are 2 different calls.wes_mantooth wrote:not a Phil Simms fan, but he explained that exactly right.royal_k wrote: All it has to do is cross it at any time.

Yeah, but it is dead once he established and crossed the goal line. He then reached out again and the ball was kicked out of his hands.Glory Days wrote:thats on a running play, on a pass play you must maintain possession throughout the catch no matter where you are on the field.wes_mantooth wrote:I think it is basically, he made a "football move" and then regrouped and re extended, but it had already crossed the goal line by then.Non wrote: I never heard this first act, second act

I can't remember seeing a play like that.
Every other time the receiver was going to the ground and had to maintain it. Even in the end zone.
That was different since he reached over and made a slight move after the catch but still seems kind of unclear what the rules are.

A run and a pass are two different situations, but I think he did enough to establish possession before it was kicked out!royal_k wrote:Yeah, he was right. i am just saying, i have seen plays where the catch was made, both feet down in the endzone, player falls out of bounds and drops the ball, no catch.

Colts are going to score too quick, just like Arizona did last year.

Manning driving it down pretty easy.
Saints won the challenge so three timeouts. Another factor.

This may sound dumb, but should the Colts take their time in scoring if they get close? Do they want to given Brees another shot at it or take their chances with coin toss in overtime?

Garcon is reppin' the Mount not only all game but all season. Malcolm Jenkins is having a solid game IMO.
