Going with the Colts with Peyton leading a game winning TD drive. I was not a believer in the Colts earlier this season but they just have a look to them and Peyton has played lights out this year. Just doesn't seem like he'll be denied, especially against a defense that Favre threw all over tonight. Probably one of the most anticipated Super Bowls I can remember as both were pretty much their conferences favorites the whole year. Hopefully Peyton can get Super Bowl #2 for him.

This game should be what the casual viewer (which a ton of SB viewers are) wants to see. A lot of great offense and great plays. I doubt its boring as well.

I was one of the people who voted for only two correct answers out of four to advance in Justin and Ironman's contest because I was almost dead certain these two teams would be in the finals. My only question was whether it would be these two or Bret would engineer a last second, come from behind victory. Now that the final two teams have been decided, I am really up in the air about the winner. It should be a whale of a game. In any event, I don't think we can blame Peyton for the press coverage he gets. It's usually more about being disappointed that our team lost to him. Sounds a little like the general negativity out there about Tim Tebow. Go figure.

I gotta go with the Colts here. I've thought all along they were the team to beat, and I'm sticking with that. I just can't see the Saints D doing to Peyton what they've done to Favre and Warner the past 2 weeks. The Colts O-line is MUCH better than Minnesota's or Arizona's. I also don't see the Saints secondary being able to check all of the receiving options that Peyton has at his disposal. Wayne, Colie, Garcon, and Clark are going to be too much for them to handle.

I am not a fan of either team. And really dislike Peyton, so I guess I am pulling for the Saints.

I am probably leaning slightly in the Colts' direction simply because I think that Peyton has too many quality targets to throw the ball to and I'm remembering how effective Farve was against the Saint's secondary. Peyton is a master at reading his third, fourth, fifth, and fifteenth options and will find them if they are open. The key will be the O Line giving Peyton enough time to throw and that Colt line is pretty good. We'll see. Brees is tough as nails also. What a great game this may be!! Peyton won't force the ball in like Favre has a tendency to do every so often.

Both teams went to Miami this year and beat the Dolphins. It's gonna be a war. I don't know what the over/under for the game is, but I'd be tempted to take the under. It's not going to be a 48-45 type game I don't think. I have a feeling that the Saints are going to come out strong and get up 10 early, then the Colts are going to settle in and pick the Saint's defense apart for little 10-15 yard passes and 3 yard runs. I'll say the games is 17-10 Saints at halftime, but the Colts will win 31-27.

If it were for a case of the oopsies, the Vikings could have beaten the Saints by two scores last night. Peyton Manning (The Cerebral Assassin) will not make the same mistakes Brett did last night and Adai will not drop the ball six times either. As far as the Saints D getting to Manning, that will not happen. Manning will do as he did against the Jets (a much better D than NO btw) and get rid of the ball before they have a chance to lay a finger on him.

Ths should be a great game. Hopefully, Drew Brees and the Saints pull off the win and send the Colts and Peyton Manning up crying. The Saints have all the weapons offensively and so do the Colts, but I think the Saints have an advantage of the defensive side of the ball by causing turnovers. I doubt the Colts will turn it over 5 times like the Vikings did, but if the Saints can force 2 or 3 turnovers and not turn it over themselves like they have been good at good at all year, then New Orleans will be bringing home its first pro championship ever.

Manning doesn't like to get hit, who does, but if they can keep up their assault on the QB and disguise their blitzes.........the Saints have a great chance to win. No way the saints get to Manning like they did to Favre and Warner. Colts o-line is probably the best pass blocking line in the league. Also the Jets, who are much better defensively than the saints, didn't have any sucess blitzing (after the first two series)... I'm for the Saints myself. It will be very interesting watching two high powered offenses up against two mediocre defenses.....I'm calling a shootout.

I don't understand it either. I mean I'm sure people have their reasons, as I have mine that I hate that other people wouldn't understand. But Peyton seems to be one of those people that you might dislike due to media, or what not, but how can you dislike him. To prove I dislike people for stupid reasons I could never root for the Saints, unless they were playing someone from the AFC North. This is because of people saying you have to be a Saints fan, after Katrina. Well no I don't and it really annoyed me. So I can no longer stand them.

Why is it more logical? In two playoff games the Saints have been all over the QB. Favre and Warner are kind of like Manning in regards to their pocket prescence, they're not going to scramble all over the place to make plays. Also Minnesota and Arizona's Olines aren't exactly swiss cheese. I'll put it to you this way, if I was the Colts, I wouldn't dismiss what they have done to opposing QB's in the playoffs, IMO it's a real cause for concern. I guess it would also have been logical to just assume that the NY Giant's pass rush wouldn't get to Tom Brady a couple of years ago, even if the Giants D put on an absolute clinic during the playoffs.Laley23 wrote:Very true.
