I think he needs 2 more years to have only his recruits in an attempt to get his complex schemes to work. You can;t run his schemes with any type of players.

If rr doesn't work out I wouldn't mind kelly coming in. He impresses me more then harbough. Kelly's offense seems to work nont matter who or what kind of qb he has (plus we would already have spread players in) harbough really hasn't done enough yet imo. He did get a nice qb , but gerhart(sp) he just happend to get lucky with him and that guy turned into a freak this year and without him they are not close to being as good.

One thing Im wondering from UM fans is that I know they are bringing in Gardner next at QB, but do you start him and go through all the freshmen mistakes and bumps again for a third year in a row or do you start Forcier and work him in from time to time?

IMO you start Forcier and work him in. He is the future of this program (Gardner) as good as Forcier has been Gardner is a better fit.

If gardner is as good as advertised then start him. With a solid team around him we might not have to deal with that many freshman mistakes. If you keep working him and tate at the same time then eventualy all that will do is start to cause some drama. IMO commit to 1 guy and keep hm as the starter. Also if robinson doesn't get moved to speed back or wr it will be a waste of talent.

I think they ought to fire him too. As an Ohio State fan, I hate RR and not just because he's UM's coach but because he's ruined the rivalry. I don't want to hear UM fans telling me that I was right when I said they shouldn't have hired him. Of course I like to watch the Bucks smack Michigan around but I want to see this rivalry decide the Big Ten year in and year out again. I hate seeing Michigan as down as they are--"The Game" just hasn't been nearly as fun the last few years and it won't be this year either.

His offense is just fine, it's the fact that they defense is letting teams to whatever they please that is the problem.

Notre "Damn" is in better shape than Michigan. You don't want Michigan to be better than they are now?

Why are Michigan fans talking about starting Gardner or playing Gardner already? That's all we heard last year about Forcier. You guys have jumped of the Tate express already?

It'll be the same thing all over with Gardner next season. Gotta stick it out with Forcier. He'll improve over teh off season.

I disagree, I think as long as he gets 8 wins then he gets a 4th year(but he needs a big win next year to). I think the schedule is set up nicely for us to get at least 8 wins.

Uconn-win
@nd-toss up(depending on if claussen returns)
Umass-win
BG-win
@indiana-not a easy game for anyone next year but should win
msu-same as iu
iowa-toss up
@psu-should win this imo but you never know
illinois-win (juice is gone and benn will leave)
@purdue-win(joey elliot is gone)
wisconsin-toss
@O$U- toss but probably a loss (sad to say but they will be loaded next year)

So imo thats 8 teams that I thnk we should win against and 4 toss up games. If we can go 8-4 or 9-3(big win over nd or wisky) then that shows improvement and buys him another year. 2011 is the year that we start getting back on top of the conference and bcs imo. You need to remeber we are a VERY young team and will only get better (cant get any worse). Other then wisconsin, PSU, and Illinois we have been in every game this year.
This sounds exactly like a lot of posts we saw last year. And look what happened.

Forcier is good, and he isn't the problem. They need a new coach and need to get better everywhere. Just like we tried to tell you, RR's offense doesn't work in the Big Ten. They're too small and not physical enough.

Honestly the only losses im surprised by this year are the msu and purdue game. I didn't expect us to beat nd this year. I mean we did go 3-9 last year did everyone honestly expect us to be that much better just by getting a good fresh qb?

I just don't understand the UM fans. What is going on in AA should be unacceptable. We keep hearing, oh he will be fine, give him time, in 4 years yada, yada, yada. Well, you have no idea what will happen in 4 years, you only know what you can see right now. So open your eyes and see a program in shambles, a team with no identity or guidance. A team that is not improving. And don't tell me about win numbers, look at the product on the field! BAD! And what you also see is a shady, egotistical coach that has always put himself above his own team.

I keep reading how Michigan COULD win 7-8 games next year. Well let's say that happens. From 3 to 5 to 8 is great if you are Rutgers, or Vanderbilt, or Central Florida, or North Carolina State. Its not nearly good enough at Michigan! At Michigan, 16 wins in 3 years better get you fired!

How long will it take if this madness continues, before those crowds of 108,00 find something else to do on their Saturday afternoons?

That will never happen. This is not OSU in the 90's Michigan will always have 100K Plus. Michigan fans are not fair weather. We went 3-9 and now 5-7(IMO) and I think RR should be fired Saturday night but I will support whomever the coach is always and I will always go to a Michigan football game if given the chance. Pay or not. GO BLUE!!!

I'm not so sure. You may not be a fairweather fan, but I know quite a few Michigan 'fans' that are not UM fans anymore. I even know one that is now an OSU fan and his name isn't Boren.

there are still 500K more people that would go to any game in AA if given the chance.

^^^ With the economy the way it is in this area- If RR continues down this path I wouldnt be so sure if a sellout does not happen at some point. My fear is Tsun might turn into the next Nebraska and cant get back to national promience. Like it or not TOSU needS Tsun to be good year after year in order to get national respect and vice versa. What I cant understand are the people saying RR needS a more time. LLoyds last game was a win against Florida and Tim Tebow for goodness sake. RR cant beat Toledo. Come on wake up people!!!

If it takes UM a while to come back then I think that OSU and Penn. St would probably be the big one in most years with the Big 10 title decided in the game.

^^^ But will they come if they wait for two or 3 more years? Ask Nebraska after Osborne, Oklahoma after Switzer, USC after Robinson or Washington after James etc Thats what is scary its not that easy.
