Pull this one: "I'm just not attracted to you. That doesn't mean I COULDN'T be attracted to you, but as it is right now I'm not."

If she's smart she'll get the hint.

You would go on "more" dates...or you would go on "a" date? Or you would be more likely to admit to your friends that you've been nailing her?

As for a more technical answer: Over the phone.

Seriously, she can't slap you over the phone.

Or yell it to her from really far away.

Gotcha. I met a girl online once who was characterized from her pics was really pretty but "goes a little back and forth". On our date, she was a little "forth". But being that no one would ever really see her or know.....you know. When she asked if I wanted to go out again, I said, "Sure, let me know when you come back." I don't think she knew what I meant and I just didn't answer her calls after that.

The thing is, even if you handled that conversation perfectly and she wasn't offended, are you really going to wait around for a year on the chance that she might actually drop that much?

I guess, I don't know why it HAS to be said. Just don't date her?

I dunno. There's no good/polite/respectful way to say that without hurting her, so it probably could go without being said. JMO.

Never a god way to say it. the only thing you could tactfully do, if you really like her, is get her interested in some sort of exercise you both like. Biking, walking, heading to the local Y....something like that.

Or.......and I have seen this..........Take her out and pay some dude you know that she doesn't to act like a drunken stooge and say it for you. :)

This is brilliant. I am ashamed I didn't come up with it. Here's your gameplan.

What u should do is get a football helmet and wear it then tell her to lose weight that way if she slaps you, you will not feel it. You also might want to get a cup just incase she goes below the belt

If you don't have any weight to lose then you might be able to get away with it. I know that if someone else is fit they will most likely want to be with someone who is fit. If you need to lose some weight then I do not see how you can tell her without looking like a shallow jerk. On the other hand, you could tell her and maybe she will lose weight and be perfect for the next guy. Either way the most polite way to do it is to start working out with her or ask her if she likes to go on walks... most likely the only way she will get the hint without being super offended.
