Dover played a sloppy game and was a fake punt away from winning by 21. Mark it down. Dover v Big Red will be epic. And gochiefs is this your first ever power position? We can tell.

Just curious. Based on a previous post. What would get the most fans in the stands?

A Friday night game ? Or a Saturday afternoon affair ?

And a special shout out to Chiefs for keeping everybody in line...... Hey, let's try to make his job easier, and just keep on track, and limit the smack talk about posters. Plenty to talk about without getting down and dirty.

Steubenville you aren’t in Kansas any more, Take this to the bank. Most teams that loses to the Steubenville high school football team are beat before they even set foot on the field. If you have any doubt you will loss. YOU WILL DEFEAT yourselves. I don’t buy into the myth you attempt to create and you are not the big red. The big red one was and is the 1st Army Division made famous in WWI and WWII. Dover is coming to play, with a confidence they will win and that scares you Steubenville high school football athletic supporters. You can continue acknowledging your past deed’s but that was the past. Dover is coming to play and expecting to win. I have no doubts. Now please continue with what you did yesterday. Because you have no idea what is coming your “WAY” .

I dont think that Dover will have an answer for Macon. No team has so far this year.

1) This game is at Fawcett...only thing needing to be decided is will it be next Friday night or early Saturday afternoon?!
This game will be Friday @ 7:30. All the D3 games are played on Fridays. The only time they will deviate from this is when there are scheduling conflicts with a potential site or other regional or state level athletic events involving one of the competing schools or host school. McKinley/GlenOak are playing @ Massillon @ 1:00 today so the Massillon people can attend their game tonight. Three years ago the Steubenville/Dover game was moved from Saturday @ 7:00 to Saturday @ 12:00 so people could watch the Bucks beat that team up north @ 3:30. I don't see any of those conflicts occurring this Friday.

Oh yes, Graywolf has risen again!

gochiefs, lets keep this forum to talking about the game and not about the garbage bantering between huddlers like what goes on in "other" threads, lol;)

Dover needs to limit the penalties and missed tackles and absolutely must take advantage of any turnovers Steuby might give us or they will have their way with us. Penalties kill any team and Dover found out that when you go up against great athletes like the ones NW had last night that if you don't hit them square and wrap up, they will turn a 5 yarder into a 50 yard gain in no time. As far as the O-line protection, it's hard to stop 6 guys blitzing when you've only got 5 blockers. Hopefully we don't have to go 5-wide too much next week. I'd really like to see Dover run the ball more with that power I formation against Steuby, and how about Ifft busting out the wing-T last night???!!!! When you've got the personnel to do it, why not try and run the ball all night? I'd be perfectly fine with Dover taking 4 yards a pop each play and controlling the clock all night.

IMO, the reason last night's game was close was because NW had a very good passing attack. From what I understand, Steuby is a running team, which makes this weeks game very interesting because Dover's strength is its run defense. NP and HC found that out in weeks 10 and 11. Steuby is leagues better than both those teams, but if Dover can hold Steuby to less than 150 yards as a team, and can find out a way to muster up a couple of scores, this should be a very exciting game.

My prediction is 14-13 Dover, but if Dover makes as many mistakes as they did last night, this could be 26-7 the other way very easily.

Go Dover!

I don't know what happened in Fawcett last night, but I do know Big Red did not good in the first half against Salem. There is no way Big Red can play like that against Dover, or it will be over by half time.

I'm glad Big Red got the penalties out of their system this week
Because we cannot afford them this week!

Come on Big Red!
Dover Tornadoes are going to try and blast in as an EF5 and you've got to make them leave the field at EF0!
Big Red will live longer than a tornado!!!

Until Dover ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING on the field against Steubenville, It's Big Red who will Shock and Awe.........Dover will just Talk and Jaw.

Until you do something about it, that's how you will be known.......All bark and NO bite.

Frankly I think the Dover fans psych their own team out by putting all this pressure on them to take down Big Red........

As a series of signs posted along 77 on the way to Fawcett read in '06.......What Are We Going To Do Today??????? Beat Big Red...........This isn't the first time Dover or anyone else comes into a game fuuly expecting to win.......

Doesn't mean it will happen.

Dover is a myth if anything.....Big Red actually has the hardware......come down and see it for yourself.

LOL people try and knock on Dover for believing in their team, its just sad. I'm happy to be past NW, spread teams with speed are an equalizer b/c broken plays in open space leave too many opportunities for mistakes. Dover's D gets back in its comfort zone this week and you'll see that turning 3rd and 1 into 1st and 10 is a tall task against our front 7.
