Oh see I was using Steubenville math. We've actually played 10 going on 11.

what teams did you see DOVER and Big Red play?
if you take playoff experience out of the equation, what is your opinion?

Dover has good playoff experience and should be comfortable at this game. Can't let BR get off to a fast start. Same goes for BR letting Dover get off to a fast start.

friday can't get here fast enough

Yeah us unsuccessful programs count all of them, not just Elite 8 and on...bunch of losers we are. Marcus will play in his 11th game Friday.

Dover's seniors have played in 7 or 8 playoff games by now...not sure how the extra two or three games Big Reds players might have will be that much of a difference.
Well most of Big reds Players know what it takes to make it to the Title game they have been there and seen it. What about Dover's players? They have seen the Regional Final only????

As will be Macon's! Its quite an accomplishment to start as a sophomore at Big Red!
And he's been starting QB since sophomore!

(Standing Ovation ) Dwight does NOT get enough credit for what he does!
He's had a helluva run! IMO he is just as big an X- factor as Zach was!
It would really make my year if he can win himself a state title!
He definitely deserves it!

The only thing that worries me about D, that you didn't worry about w/ Zach, is if things go bad will he lose his cool.....

Now we've seen him lose it before, but we've also seen him bounce back....Think Mooney '07, all the turnovers in the first half, but he still rallied and led a heck of a comeback in the second half.

But, if something goes wrong in the second half will he be able to grab the bull by the horns w/ out a halftime to sit and calm down...That's the only thing that worries me. He gets emotional....

And he doesn't have someone like Branko out there like he's had the last two years....I felt like Branko would take charge on the field and keep people cool. This group is young and no one has established themselves as a leader......we see that by the personal fouls and other crap that goes on now but hasn't gone on the past few years....

Refresh me on Big Red history...they have 3 State Championships, all under Reno right? How many of you were alive to see that transformation to state power? Dover is taking those steps, so get your punches in now, they almost took the next step two times in the last three years and get another crack at it Friday.

I was alive but young...also interested to hear the early events of the Reno years.

BTW, no one will remember who won the regional championship so to speak, so you've got to do a little more than that to be a state power.....

I thought this sight was "really" strict. Well I guess that only goes for Big Red fans. After looking at wes_mantooth's avatar I wonder why it isn't handled by the staff? All I said was if Big Red loses I will be grabbing my ancles behind the buses. And my post was deleted.

i got to see dover play in the playoffs earlier this season, and i think they will be a force to reckon with. obviously, Big Red's knowledge of the game and superior history will be an advantage, but that Dover team is pretty tough.....

It was probably b/c it was in the middle of about 20 posts that were deleted all at once yesterday..as for wes's avatar..a) wes is staff..b) there is nothing offensive about his avatar anyways..c) if wes's avatar offends you..I suggest you stay away from the 'General Forums'..and d) this site is not biased towards ANY team.

lol....I really doubt anyone is out to get Big Red fans. I grew up in the Steubenville area and now live close to Dover. I could care less who wins this game, but I just hope the winner wins the whole damn thing. Good luck to both teams. As for your post, I know that this thread has been cleaned up a lot because of personal attacks(which is one of the few rules that we have).

I can delete my avatar if it is offensive, but I thought everyone liked fab4runner.
