If you dont know anything bout Dover/Steubenville rivalry maybe you are #1, in over your head or #2, let this play out and IF it gets real nasty do your thing. But this is kids play compared to how it might be by Frifday afternoon. Bottom line, it is a pretty good rivalry bc of the strong opinions from both sides. If Dover was irrelevant to Steubenville they wouldnt even engage us in debate!! Both schools knew this week was coming and now its here. Riverrats beware!!

Dont know the details but sounds fair to me. If Chief is willing to stay out of it until we have our first online homicide between Dover/Steubenville. (That was a joke).

Why I hate Steuby.... After we beat them in 1998, in what was the biggest win in the Dan Ifft era up to that point. They pulled the biggest busch league move the next morning at the JV game. It was at Steuby. It was a hot morning. For some reason they moved the game to their awful practice field. Than made Dover wait an hour and a half to start the game (for what reason I do not know.) Then marched out a team that saw significant playing time the night before and acted like they won the Super Bowl when they beat the Dover Jvs. The refs (definitely Steuby dirtballs) were allowing cheap shots by the Big Red. The coaches were running their mouths. It truly was an embarrassment for Steuby, wait it probably wasn't. They always act like that.

Go Dover!!! It has taken 15 years to become a consistent Regional power. Lets take that next step for our program and get some state wide respect.

Just want to throw in two things.

1. Buckeye Bill. I've met him a few times myself. Yes, he's an uber Big Red fan and acts like it. So what? His opinions about Big Red doesn't have effects on the game(s).
Every towns got a Buckeye Bill.

2. Steubenville and Dover need to develope a love/hate relationship like Bellaire and Martins Ferry has. (wanna talk about rivalries, eh?)
