Nice!!!!!

You're absolutely right..the better the game atmosphere, the better the game experience and the better the team seemes to do...perception is reality. Kinda like when you just detail your car , doesn't it seem to run better....it really doesn't, just a better driving experience......but , again, perception is reality.

I agree we as fans are as big a part of the game as the band and cheerleaders we need to always show our support and be LOUD!
I remember how great our fan were in 05 @ the Desales game!
That really pumped us up and gave us that extra will to win!
The difference in fan motivation was completely one sided in that game!

I agree... When BR came to EL... They expected a blowout... They seemed very relaxed... in the first half... Come the second half it was... different... I know ppl say Big Red fans are this and that... I wish we had some fans that were that... The louder... the Better... I think Reno mentioned this in his post game thoughts last week...

Max Preps have this winner and Mooney winner playing the teams out west winners....

So Region 11 will play the Cincy region winner?

Rebracketing can occur once the field is set for state semi finals. Nobody knows who will play who yet.

Wooball and I were discussing that...thinking if they will have private play private and public v public to avoid the all private final hahaha

Yea, we spoke about it too. Think it has more to do with travel so you would think that the Mooney vs. Poland winner would play Dover vs. Steubenville and Desales vs. Watterson would play Cincinnati Wyoming vs. Springfield Shawnee BUT who knows what the OHSAA would do.

Going off what bases_loaded said, Wouldn't this be the best chance for the OHSAA to have the state semi finals in the Columbus area?

You are correct. Dont simply assume OHSAA would do the most logical thing.

The biggest issue I see with this is where would the play the game between a team from YTown and a team from CBUS at that is turf and would have enough seating to hold the crowd? Akron and Canton are both 2 hours from CBUS and less than half that from YTown. Unless the OHSAA wants to guarantee a public in the finals in D3, then I think the winner of Big Red v Dover will play Mooney (or Poland).

synds, the tree and crowd post are 100 % ON THE MONEY !!! I think the tree thing honsetly has something to do with the fact they played for the title last year and may be a little over confident !!! Plus the fact that, Pretty sure most of the players know what these "huddles" are and read about how "great" they are in the fans words. That stuff can go to your head !!!

The coaches wanted to see the Ohio State Michigan game.

Seen both dover and big red play this year......IMO Big Red has to much playoff experience and athletes for Dover.

Actually the OHSAA didn't want to lose $$$ because the end of the OSU game would have butted up against the high school football games.

Dover's seniors have played in 7 or 8 playoff games by now...not sure how the extra two or three games Big Reds players might have will be that much of a difference.
