Calling yourself the biggest Dover fan is not saying much unless you are the 6th grade social studies teacher that leads the D-O-V chant because our cheerleaders are apparently unable to get the crowd into a frenzy, which in itself is amazing since there are like 40 of them this year, its ok they do pushups. Dover has one of the WORST crowds for a team that has been successful the last 15 years. Did you hear how much LOUDER the Northwest crowd was last week? They had about half as many people on their side now Big Red fan...

If there is one thing I have learned in the last few years Big Red might have the dumbest fan base of a state power I have ever had contact with. You can't have a good football discussion with Big Red Fan. Big Red poster has three responses

1. ROLL RED ROLL
2. No team is on the same level
3. ROLL RED ROLL

Maybe its because they have been good sooo long they don't need to understand the game, just roll red roll. I try to get some information about the team and all I get is they are the greatest team since sliced bread and the only reason they lost was because they weren't healthy....NEWS FLASH big red fan, Massillon played St. Iggy the week before, I'm guessing they were hurting to. According to Big Red fan they never get beat by a better team just something wasn't clicking that week. WELL DUH thats why teams lose. I lost it when I asked what is a weakness, and got some response about not being healthy, really?

Im not trying to be funny, he says Dover's backfield averages 6'4" 220 and not one of them can match either of those measurements. But then he calls me out because I missed Pryor's height by 2". Please.

dover is healthy and ready to go,friday can't come soon enough.
just saw on channel 9 that macon was player of the week. his highlights were impressive. dover MUST keep him from turning the corner. I believe that Dover has the athletes to contain him.
Marcus was athlete of the week a few weeks ago. both videos can be viewed at the channel 9 website.
I don't know know if Dover WILL win but they certainly have the ability TO win. They don't have to play perfect, just avoid stupid mistakes and don't try to do to much.
Keep Macon to less than 200 yards total offense and that will be a step in the right direction.

A superfan cheers wildly and blindly for their favorite team. They may or may not have knowledge of the game, but when they cross into superfandom it really doesn't matter anymore, because that knowledge gets clouded and their arguments turn from strategy and insight on the game to chants such as Gimme a D or roll red roll. All teams have and need these types of fans, but they can rub others the wrong way when they proclaim they are the "true" or "best" fans of the team. See example of superfan:

Dawgpound Mike is a great fan and he had good intentions. He seems to have let his 15 mins of fame go to his head. Blah Blah so he met with Al Lerner, it accomplished nothing. The late walkin was a bust. network didnt even mention it.

Why talk about football. After reading Big Red fan it appears obvious that we have no chance on Friday night since Big Red's weaknesses are:
1. Injuries
2. Team Leadership (but how important is that when you have the talent the Red has)
3. Kicking game (but they won't punt and may as well just go for 2 after touchdowns because "did you see Shaq just dragging tacklers along last week." I'm sure he can drag out guys for 3 yards)
4. Loses flavor after 15 minutes and rots your teeth
