I was pulling her car back into the driveway when she asks, "is the lawn mower broken or something?"
I reply, "no, why?"
She says,"well the grass is pretty tall, I was just curious as to why you haven't cut it this week."
Astonished I explain, "have you been smoking crack all week and missed the ten fucking inches of rain we have been blessed with this week?"
Her, "well, do you think you can cut it this weekend?"
Me, "I hope so, but I really have no control over the weather. I'll see what I can do."
Her, "you should have time later Saturday afternoon."
Me, "I will put that in my calendar as soon as we get in the door."

I was at Tebow's Charity golf tourney at Sawgrass yesterday. What an unbelievable awesome day. I met and got my pic with so many cool players, and it was not crowded at all except for Tim's group. Adrian Peterson was there, because he lost a bet in a game of horse with Tim at a Nike event last month. He leaned over to chip onto the green, and had muscles bulging out the back of his shirt, looked like he was smuggling golf balls and baseballs in his back. Leon Washington of the Jets was as nice as can be. Jason Taylor can play some damn good golf. John Lynch is one of my all-time favorite people. Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit was having a blast. ESPN's Scott Van Pelt played. Plenty of Gators of course, Fred Taylor, Danny Wuerffel, Urban Meyer, Will Muschamp, Pouncey twins- it was their second time ever playing golf, lol.

Space Shuttle Endeavour is scheduled for launch next Monday at 8:56 am. Perfect time for me; finals are done this week. I'll be kayak fishing in the lagoon at sunrise, viewing the launch from 10 nautical miles.
