good fight in the SEC
Vandy hit one free throw, Bama came down for the win but couldn't get it to fall

Huge win for Vanderbilt. South Carolina is also 2-0 in the league and Vandy goes to Columbia Saturday. Vanderbilt then has at Tennessee, at Kentucky and vs Mississippi State as 3 of their next 4 games after that which would take them through 7 conference games. If they can get through that stretch at 5-2, they will be poised to go likely 12-4 in the league with their favorable 2nd half schedule.
They only shot 20 for 37 from the line in this game however, that MUST improve. They have the ability to get to the line with their many big guys and good drivers in Beal and Taylor, but there was no reason to give away that many points on missed FT's.

Glad Vandy got the win. Horrible pick'em start for me this week... I think even winning this one only moves me to 2-4.
